<p><em>“Honestly, the chemistry I saw between Syd and [Glen]… people always talk about chemistry, that crazy word, but the first time Sydney arrived in Australia that Sunday, straight from Italy after filming her movie ‘Immaculate,’ which is this Italian Vatican movie. She came to Sydney on Sunday, they sat where we were staying, and they started rehearsing, and in about a minute, I thought, ‘Oh my God, thank God. <p>Later, when asked about the script he co-wrote with <strong>Ilana Wolpert</strong>, he spoke about sharing the film with both actors and the back-and-forth he had regarding the story. There, he confessed:</p>



<p><em>“I heard there was a script that Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell were attached to, and I always wanted to work with them. I called them and said, ‘What’s going on with this?’ We all met, talked for a long time, and then said, ‘What if we do this? We’d like to do it this way.’ So we all joined hands and did it the way we wanted, and we got to work. Everything came together pretty quickly</em>“.</p>

<p>The criticism received by the new romantic comedy has been diverse, and some of the writers working for major outlets such as Variety or IndieWire have been quite harsh but objective.</p>



<p><strong>David Ehrlich</strong> wrote for IndieWire: <em>“Anyone But You may not be funny or memorable enough to make romantic comedies matter again as a genre, but it might bring us a little closer to that goal precisely because it doesn’t burden itself with that objective. This is nothing more than old-fashioned frivolity with freshly created stars and a luxurious supporting cast</em>“.</p>

<p>In the comics, the Fantastic Four start out as astronauts who become superheroes after <strong>exposure to cosmic rays in space.</strong> Reed gains the ability to stretch his body to extraordinary length, while his girlfriend Sue becomes invisible and creates strong force fields. Meanwhile, Johnny, Sue’s brother, turns into fire and Ben, Reed’s best friend, becomes something of a giant orange rock with superhuman strength.</p>

<h2>A star-studded cast</h2>



<p>Fans have been speculating about the new cast, and the news didn’t disappoint. Pascal solidifies his position with arguably the most significant role of his career, following his leading roles in<strong> “The Mandalorian”</strong> and <strong>“The Last Of Us,”</strong> the latter earning him nominations for the <strong>Golden Globes</strong> and <strong>Emmys.</strong></p>



<p>Meanwhile, Kirby received an Oscar nomination for her leading role in <strong>“A Pieces of a Woman” </strong>(2020). She is also known for appearing in the <strong>Mission Impossible franchise </strong>since 2018, as well as portraying Princess Margaret in <strong>“The Crown” </strong>(for which she won the BAFTA).</p>



<p>Quinn, on the other hand, is best known for portraying Eddie in Season 4 of <strong>“Stranger Things.” </strong>However, the actor is set to appear in big movies in 2024, including <strong>“A Quiet Place: Day One”</strong> and <strong>“Gladiator 2.”</strong></p>



<p>Moss-Bachrach is coming from winning the Golden Globe and the Emmy for his role as Richard in <strong>“The Bear.”</strong> He is also well-known for playing David Lieberman/Micro in the series “The Punisher.”</p>

The outlet also states that the movie could start production in <strong>May.</strong></p>



<h2>Past Lives competes for two Oscars</h2>



<p>Since its premiere at 2023 Sundance, ‘Past Lives’ has become one of the most-talked about films of the past year. Starring <strong>Greta Lee, Teo Yoo </strong>and <strong>John Margaro</strong>, the movie centers around writer Nora, who after moving to the United States, she connects with her childhood sweetheart from Korea.</p>



<p>In an interview with several outlets, Song said she thinks that many people resonate with the film because it is about <em><strong>“ordinary lives [that] have many kinds of time, I think,” </strong></em>according to Korea JongAng Daily.</p>
