Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar-Jones star in the upcoming disaster film “Twisters,” a legacy sequel of the 1996 film (which is now trending on Max). The movie is being directed by Lee Isaac Chung, who is known for his critically acclaimed autobiographical drama “Minari” (2020).

While the sequel only has a loose connection with the original film, which starred Helen Hunt and the late Bill Paxton, a thing both films have in common is that the story is set in Oklahoma during the storm season. And, so, the music of the film couldn’t be any other genre but country.

The first single of the upcoming album is “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma,” which is performed by Luke Combs. Combs co-wrote the song with Jessi Alexander and Jonathan Singleton specifically for the soundtrack of the movie, and it debuted at number 24 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Which artists appear on the ‘Twisters’ soundtrack?

For fans of country music, the album will feature iconic artists such as Miranda Lambert, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Kane Brown, Charley Crockett, Thomas Rhett, Shania Twain and Tyler Childers. Also, names like Megan Moroney, Bailey Zimmerman and Tanner Adell are also part of the soundtrack.
