The countdown for “Gladiator 2” has already begun, and the highly anticipated sequel directed by Ridley Scott, with a screenplay by David Scarpa, will hit the big screen on November 22nd this year.
The movie is set years after the events of Gladiator and follows Lucius, the adult son of Lucilla, who becomes embroiled in political intrigues, personal vendettas, and epic battles, all set against impressive backdrops.
With a stellar cast that includes Paul Mescal (Aftersun) and Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us) in a prominent role, the sequel promises to be epic for its rich storytelling, exploration of deep themes and visual spectacle.
How long does ‘Gladiator 2’ last?
Capturing a significant part of Roman history, even if fictional, is no easy task. Therefore, it was expected that the Gladiator sequel would have a somewhat longer runtime. The movie will last 2 hours and 36 minutes in total.
