A year ago, it was confirmed that “Gladiator” would have a sequel after 24 years since the classic premiered on the big screen, where several stars like Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix and Connie Nielsen became mega-popular.

The story follows a former Roman general who seeks revenge on the corrupt emperor who murdered his family and sent him into slavery. Now, in the upcoming movie, the plot will focus on Lucius, the son of Lucilla.

How old was the Gladiator cast in 2000 and now?

It was confirmed that some stars will be returning for Gladiator 2, where they will share the screen with the new leads, Paul Mescal (who plays the older version of Lucius) and Pedro Pascal.
