Henry Cavill to play a Wolverine variant in Deadpool
Indeed, Henry Cavill will not only join the MCU but will also bring to life one of the Wolverine variants in the third movie of Deadpool. Although his cameo has not yet been confirmed by him, it is known that the cast will be stellar, so it wouldn’t be far-fetched.
The Superman actor would portray a different version of Logan. Giant Freakin’ Robot confirmed the news and provided some details about his involvement, stating that the star will wear “a long brown coat” in his scenes. While it might seem like just a colorful detail, it suggests it could be true.
If the former DC member has indeed accepted the role of this new character, it would mark his grand debut alongside Marvel Studios. It’s a smart move by the company as, since the end of the Infinity Saga, they’ve been seeking ways to reconnect with the audience and regain their shine.
