The Direct reported rumors that several characters from the Spider-Man universe may make an appearance, such as Kingpin, portrayed by Vincent D’Onofrio, who could be a key antagonist after his role in Daredevil.



Other possible returns include Michael Mando as Scorpion, hinted at since Spider-Man: Homecoming, Angourie Rice as Betty Brant and of course, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Peter’s loyal friend.



It has not yet been confirmed who, besides the two protagonists (who are also a couple), will return for the fourth MCU installment. However, it is expected that Jon Favreau will reprise his role as Happy Hogan.

Tom Holland has become a favorite actor for many after his stint with Marvel as Spider-Man, especially for his incredible performance alongside <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/robert-downey-jr">Robert Downey Jr.</a> and <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/zendaya">Zendaya</a>. The cinema-focused outlet Cultura Ocio reported that the fourth installment of Peter Parker will begin filming in 2025, with its release scheduled for July 2026. This would place it between “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Secret Wars”.



Rumors have been circulating for several months because the film that will mark the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/venom-the-last-dance-with-tom-hardy-all-that-is-known-about-the-marvel-movie">end of the alien symbiote</a> will tie its plot to the events occurring in No Way Home, which premiered in theaters in 2021.

‘Deadpool and Wolverine,’ starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, has become one of the highest-grossing films of the year with $850 million earnings so far, heading towards $1 billion by its third weekend. Keen first played the character in ‘Logan’ (2017), earning praise for her performance. While her return was supposed to be a secret, as well as many others, her presence in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ was confirmed ahead of the film’s premiere.

<h2>Keen says Tatum was ‘yapping’ in front of her</h2>



‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ has received mostly positive reviews, and to many critics and fans, one of the standout performances of the film is Tatum as Gambit, a character he was supposed to play back a decade ago but the project never came to fruition.



However, the ‘21 Jump Street’ actor didn’t hold back in his scenes in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine,’ being one of the funniest characters of the story. And, to Keen, this was a problem as she kept breaking character while they were filming.

“I had to tell him that on my shot he couldn’t say his lines,” she said while talking to the Phase Zero podcast. “I kept breaking character,” she added, explaining that she was trying to maintain her “broody Wolverine” attitude but everytime Tatum said his lines she “was like ‘not. You’re making it so hard!’”



“Even in the formation when he’s like ‘I’m ‘bout to make a name for myself here,’ I was like ‘no. Again.’ I’m trying to be calm and collected and this guy was just yapping at me, and he was like right in front of me. I was like dying [of laughter],” she explained.



<h2>Dafne Keen says that everyone was ‘so nice’ while filming</h2>



Keen only had praise for all the actors she worked with, as well as for director Shawn Levy. “Shawn and Ryan (Reynolds) are really intelligent people,” she said, explaining that the director and the star helped her with all her questions about her character.



She also said that working with Jackman again was a “similar” experience as the ones their characters were having on screen. “It has been many years. My life is completely different, his life is completely different. We are now with a different director with a completely different tone for the film. But we also got a scene that was very… Kind of the space in which we can be comfortable with each other. A heavy, emotional scene,” she explained to the podcast.

“It was kinda terrifying, I’ve said this before, but I thought that we might have lost it cause we haven’t done it in eight years but when we got on set, it very naturally happened. Shawn is so brilliant. It was a very different energy,” she added.

Wade dreams of joining their ranks and becoming someone significant, but he’s consistently excluded. As a result, he carves out his own path, bringing back many overlooked characters from outside the MCU whose stories we never saw continue.



In an interview with Collider, Ryan Reynolds discussed forgotten superheroes and villains, speaking about the ones that made the cut and the ones who didn’t. When asked about <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/nicolas-cage">Nicolas Cage</a>’s Ghost Rider, Reynolds’s response was short.



“Yes, it definitely came up in conversation. But no,” he said. Despite his love for speaking hours and hours about the “Deadpool” franchise and its details, Reynolds didn’t provide further information. So, the reason for Ghost Rider’s exclusion remains unclear.



It’s possible there was no deeper reason beyond prioritizing other characters. Alternatively, Cage’s busy schedule, with six projects currently lined up and more likely to come, might have been a factor if he was approached and declined.

When asked about Downey Jr.’s return despite his own legal troubles, Majors commented that he saw nothing wrong with it, though he felt regret that he didn’t receive a similar chance:



“I think it’s fair that Mr. Downey is being received with patience, curiosity, and love … and [he’s] being allowed to work [his] art and be creative at that level,” Majors stated. “I didn’t really get that.”



Finally, when questioned about the possibility of returning to the MCU, Majors expressed that he would be thrilled to do so if it’s what the fans desired. Only time will tell if the entertainment company and its audience will offer him a second chance.

For one thing, Deadpool seems to exist in both the primary “Earth-616” universe—where the Avengers fight Thanos and more—and “Earth-10005,” which is the setting for the X-Men movies. The Avengers and X-Men aren’t part of the same universe (at least not yet), so they are separated by these metafictional boundaries. As you likely know, Deadpool isn’t fond of boundaries and enjoys breaking them four at a time.
