Scott joins Cameron Diaz, Jamie Foxx, Kyle Chandler, Jamie Demetriou, and Glenn Close in ‘Back in Action,’ a crime comedy directed by Seth Gordon. It is set to be released on Netflix this November, and it will mark Diaz’s return to acting.

While details of the plot have been kept under wraps, the film will follow former CIA spies Emily and Matt, who are pulled back into espionage after their secret identities are exposed. The script was co-written by Gordon and Brendan O’Brien.

Blue Moon | TBD

Scott has joined the cast of “Blue Moon,” Richard Linklater’s next project. He will star alongside Ethan Hawke, Margaret Qualley, and Bobby Cannavale. The film, written by Robert Kaplow, tells the story of the final days of Lorenz Hart, half of the songwriting team Rodgers & Hart.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will start production in early July. The movie also marks the ninth collaboration between Hawke and Linklater, after working together in films such as the “Before” trilogy and “Boyhood.”

Scott is part of the star-studded cast of the third installment of the “Knives Out” franchise, titled “Wake Up Dead Man.” The film has already started production, and it’s expected to come out next year on Netflix.
