Greta Lee was content with her supporting role in important series and movies such as drama Money Monster, the Netflix comedy-drama series Russian Doll, and the Apple TV+ drama series The Morning Show. However, she gained worldwide recognition as the lead of Celine Song’s ‘Past Lives’ and she is now ready to keep up taking space.

In an interview with CBS News during the 2024 awards season, in which she earned a nomination for a Golden Globe, Lee admitted that the role changed her future, and which kind of role she will go after. “I had already made peace with, maybe, the fact that I wasn’t gonna have an opportunity like this, that it just wasn’t in the cards for me. And then, this happened, she explained.

And the 41-year-old certainly will try to take advantage of her newfound success, and breakthrough in the industry. Apart from “Past Lives,” she voiced several roles in 2023, including “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” “Problemista” and “Strays.” However, she will come back to the big screen with two anticipated movies so far.
