Variety and other specialized media reported that the American filmmaker will participate as a creative advisor through Invisible Narratives, with the goal of further expanding the franchise, including a line of toys.

<h2>Where is Stranger Things Season 5 being filmed?</h2>



Per Variety, Season 5 of Stranger Things has been filming in “Atlanta-based soundstages.” However, Collider lists a series of locations that include: Bellwood Quarry, Patrick Henry High School, and Stone Mountain Park.



Other locations include the Sleepy Hollow Farm in Georgia, which serves for the exterior scenes of Hopper’s cabin. Meanwhile, exterior scenes for the Hawkins Laboratory were filmed in Georgia Mental Health Institute in Atlanta, which operated from 1965 to 1997. However, the building was demolished in 2022.

Another iconic location for Season 3 was the introduction of the Starcourt Mall, which in real life is the Gwinnett Place Mall in Duluth, near Atlanta. Rapman, creator of the supernatural drama, spoke before the premiere and mentioned that he had several ideas for a second season. During an interview, he did not hold back his hopes and stated:



“At the beginning of the show, I always tell everyone that Season 1 of Supacell for me is like Batman Begins. It’s just starting. We have to see where it goes next to see who these people really are“.



<h2>When might the second season of Supacell arrive?</h2>



Although as of June 29th Supacell has not been renewed by Netflix, a possible second season could arrive in the catalog by late 2024 or sometime in 2025, but this has not been confirmed.



The first season has left an open ending to continue exploring the story, and Rapman confessed he’s not really thinking about a future installment, but rather, “I just want people to see it through to the end“. Additionally, he added:



“And I want people to see what they think about all the twists and turns and how they felt afterward. I didn’t work hard to get people halfway through the show and then turn around to see something else. Hopefully, the world receives it well“.
