“Megapolis” is an ambitious film project directed by Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather and Bram Stoker’s Dracula), one of Hollywood’s most legendary filmmakers, set to hit the big screen this year in just a few weeks.
It is scheduled for a major release on September 27, so the countdown for fans to see Adam Driver, Nathalie Emmanuel, Aubrey Plaza, Shia LaBeouf and many other big stars in the industry has already begun.
It is undoubtedly a title that has generated a lot of anticipation, not only because of its incredible cast and crew but also due to the mystery surrounding it. This morning, the first trailer was released, but Lionsgate pulled it down.
Megalopolis’ rumored cast salary
It was expected that “Megalopolis” would have a large budget of $120 million, as it has to cover the salaries of its biggest stars, such as Adam Driver (Marriage Story and Ferrari), who is the highest-paid member of the cast.
Although none of the actors have made any references to their earnings from the science fiction film, Showbiz Galore reported the possible sums that the main actors might have taken home for their roles.
The actor who plays Caesar Catiline in the drama has secured the No. 1 spot as the highest-paid member with $3 million, further increasing his net worth. In second place is Jon Voight, with a $1.5 million payout for his role.
