House of the Dragon has not only been one of the strongest trends on <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/max">Max</a>, but it is about to premiere its second season, which will again be headlined by Matt Smith, <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/olivia-cooke">Olivia Cooke</a> and Emma D’Arcy.

These novellas are known as “Dunk and Egg” and follow the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk) and his squire, a young Aegon V Targaryen (Egg), approximately 90 years before the events of the original <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/series">series</a>.



The upcoming <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/fantasy">fantasy</a> and dragon <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/drama">drama</a> will be set in the same world but in a different time period, with new characters and stories. Dexter Sol Ansell and Peter Claffey have been cast as the protagonists.

The children’s drama ‘Sweet Tooth’ has come back to <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix">Netflix</a> with its third and final season, and the latest installment has become the number one series on the platform worldwide, according to FlixPatrol. Of course, there are many important themes that the series, based on the comic book series created by Jeff Lemire, explore, such as discrimination, fear, humanity and more. And, according to the show’s creator Jim Mickle, one of them is hope.



In an interview with Deadline, Mickle said that while Gus’ life wasn’t at stake during season three, “his innocence was” and that was the point of view they wanted to empathize with the story. “His superpower is really hope and finding the best in humanity,” he told the outlet.



Meanwhile, in an interview with The Gate, Convery, who has been playing Gus these past five years, said that he “got to grow up with my character.” He also added that “seeing more good and bad sides of humanity on his adventures, meeting new people, discovering new emotions… it was almost like one big life lesson, essentially.”



Sweet Tooth is now streaming on Netflix.

“Practical Magic” is coming back with a legacy sequel, 26 years after the release of the original film. Warner Bros. announced that they’re working on the film, with <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/practical-magic-2-will-sandra-bullock-and-nicole-kidman-return-as-the-owens-sisters">Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman in talks to return</a>, per Variety.



In the first <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movie</a>, Bullock and Kidman starred as the Owens sisters, two witches that have to find a way to bring back to life Kidman’s abusive ex-boyfriend (Goran Višnjić) after Bullock unintentionally drugs and kills him.



The <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/fantasy">fantasy</a> film was directed by Griffin Dunne, and it was an adaptation of the 1995 novel of the same name by Alice Hoffman. Academy Award winner Bullock played Sally, a witch who becomes widowed after the Owens curse kills her husband. Meanwhile, the young version of Sally was played by a 12-year-old Camilla Belle, who is now 37 years old. Bullock is also set to produce the sequel.

Meanwhile, Kidman played Gillian Owens, the most free-spirited of the two sisters, and loves magic. However, she becomes the victim of an abusive relationship. Her young version was played by Lora Anne Criswell, who was 13 years old at the time and who is now 38 years old. Kidman, an Academy Award and Emmy winner, is also set to produce the sequel.
