Now that My Lady Jane has become one of the most watched and successful <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/series">series</a> in the Prime Video catalog, many viewers have been searching for the actors, like Jordan Peters, who plays King Edward.

During an interview with Square Mile, he talked about his career and how he has been enjoying the recent projects he has been involved in. When asked about his proudest professional achievement, he said:



“Landing the lead role of Two Tonne for ‘Pirates’. This is the proudest moment of my career so far because it’s the first time I’ve led a film, and it’s also a film that is so close to my heart“.



Over the years, he has added different titles to his filmography, but he has also confessed that he still has some dreams to fulfill, such as working with Christopher Nolan or Denis Villeneuve.



Additionally, he revealed that one of his greatest sources of inspiration, outside of any family member, is Daniel Kaluuya. In the interview, the actor assured, “I have followed his career for a long time“.

However, it could be said that one of the most interesting roles he has played so far is that of King Edward in the adaptation of My Lady Jane. This would be his first LGBTQ+ portrayal on screen.



Digital Spy spoke with Jordan after the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/tv">TV</a> show premiered on <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/prime-video">Prime Video</a>, mainly to analyze the queer character in depth, and when they asked him about it, Peters responded:



“When I auditioned for the role, I sat down with Jamie Babbit, the director. She told me about the character and how they wanted him to be gay. That moment in episode one in Edward’s bedroom where he sees this woman naked and the narrator says, ‘King Edward had always assumed that women looked like men underneath their clothes.’ It’s a good introduction to see who King Edward is and his sexuality”.

During the 2024 Superhero Comic Con, Chris Pine gave an update about the possibility of a sequel for his <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/fantasy">fantasy</a> comedy “Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.” According to the actor, there’s a “really good chance” for a second installment.



Directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, the first <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movie</a>, inspired by the game of the same name, followed Edgin Darvis (Pine) and his ragtag crew of misfits as they sought to rescue his daughter from the clutches of Forge Fitzwilliam (Hugh Grant).



The supporting cast included Michelle Rodriguez, Sophia Lillis, Justice Smith and Regé Jean-Pagé. While the film received positive reviews from critics, it wasn’t exactly a box office hit, which made the possibility of doing a second one a little slimmer. Here’s everything that Pine said.



<h2>A ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ sequel is possible but with this condition</h2>



According to Pine, while there’s a possibility of a sequel, there has to be a condition: “If they can figure out a financial way to make it work, they’ll do it.” This is because the first film underperformed at the box office, and didn’t break even.



The movie had a production budget of $208 million, and it only grossed $150 million worldwide. However, the film was highly successful among critics, receiving a 91% score on Rotten Tomatoes, which could make Paramount (the studio behind the film) consider making a sequel.

Pine’s comments are similar to what Paramount CEO Brian Collins said to Variety in July 2023. “We’ve got to figure out a way to make it for less,” he told the publication. The studio was also working on a spin-off series, which was announced in 2022, but it was canceled in May 2024.



Even though the outlook doesn’t seem promising, we know for certain that Pine would return. Back in 2023, he told GamesRadar+: “I’ve heard some rumors about it, but I don’t know anything yet. I feel pretty confident that it may happen. [I’d] absolutely [return].”

With its newfound popularity, many have come forward to say that the film is among their favorite titles. Furthermore, many of them are asking for a second part. What are the odds?

Given the extremely open ending of “Dracula Untold,” it’s clear that the initial plan was to continue with a sequel. So, why hasn’t it come out after ten years? Will it ever see the light of day?

First, it’s important to know that this film was intended to be a central part of the Dark Universe, Universal’s franchise aimed at reviving the stories of their iconic monsters from the 1930s.&nbsp;



The goal was to shed light on a different side of these creatures, as “Dracula Untold” creates an origin story for the title character rather than using the storyline of Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel. However, the flick was not as successful as producers had hoped.&nbsp;



Although it made some money at the box office, grossing $217.1 million against a budget of $70–100 million, it was harshly criticized. Such a negative reception led the team behind the movie to cancel plans for any sequels.&nbsp;



When the next film in the universe, “The Mummy” with <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/tom-cruise">Tom Cruise</a>, performed just as poorly, Universal announced in 2019 that the Dark Universe was canceled and they would return to stand-alone features. Therefore, a “Dracula Untold” sequel is not currently planned. However, with the recent resurgence of interest in the production, it is possible that Universal might reconsider.

While some praised the film’s visual effects, action sequences, and Evans’ performance, others criticized it for its predictable plot and lack of depth in character development.

<h4>Abubakar Salim as Alyn of Hull</h4>



Alyn of Hull is an important figure in the history of House Velaryon and plays a significant role in the events following the Dance of the Dragons. He and his older brother were legitimized by Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen and were given the surname Velaryon.



Abubakar Salim has been chosen to portray the character and is best known for voicing characters in several major video game franchises. Among the most popular are Assassin’s Creed, Diablo and World of Warcraft.

<h4>Gayle Rankin as Alys Rivers</h4>



Alys Rivers was a bastard woman and healer residing in Harrenhal during the Targaryen civil war. She was attributed with magical abilities and prophetic visions. She had a significant influence on the events of the Dance of the Dragons.



She became the lover of Ser Aemond Targaryen, one of the main fighters of the Greens, who supported Aegon II Targaryen in his struggle against his half-sister Rhaenyra Targaryen for the Iron Throne.



The character will be brought to life by Gayle Rankin, the Scottish actress who previously worked in productions such as the series GLOW and the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movies</a> Bad Things, Men and Irreplaceable You, among others.



<h4>Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne Hightower</h4>



Gwayne Hightower is the son of Otto Hightower, the Hand of the King to several Targaryen kings, and the brother of Alicent Hightower, who becomes the wife of King Viserys I Targaryen in the first season.



As a member of House Hightower, his loyalty and actions are deeply intertwined with his family’s political and military machinations. His role as a knight contributes to the complex web of alliances.



Freddie Fox will bring the character to life in the second installment of HBO’s prequel and has previously appeared in projects such as Slow Horses, The Great, The Crown and some voice acting roles.



<h4>Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull</h4>



Addam of Hull was born a bastard and grew up in the port city of Hull. He was described as a brave young man skilled with dragons. During the Dance of the Dragons, Addam was legitimized by Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen.



He is the brother of Alyn and was one of the few individuals who managed to ride a dragon, specifically Seasmoke, the dragon previously ridden by Laenor Velaryon.



Clinton Liberty (Normal People and Red Election) is the one who will bring the character to life in the new episodes and will have a quite interesting role, as the dragon seeds will have the opportunity to claim unbound dragons.



<h4>Kieran Bew as Hugh</h4>



Hugh is a young squire of House Arryn who serves at the Hand’s Tourney in King’s Landing. During the tournament, he is selected as the opponent for the young knight Gregor Clegane in the jousting competition.



He is another dragon seed and used to live on Dragonstone. The actor chosen to bring the role to life is Kieran Bew, who previously worked on projects like the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/series">series</a> Warrior and some video games.



<h4>Tom Bennett as Ulf</h4>



Ulf the Immortal was an Ironborn, a warrior from the Iron Islands, known for his great size and strength. He served as the personal bodyguard and champion of Balon Greyjoy, the Lord of the Iron Islands during the War of the Usurper.



He participated in several battles, including the Battle of Fair Isle, where he fought on behalf of the Greyjoys against the forces loyal to the Iron Throne. Now, Tom Bennet is the one who will bring to life the character.



<h4>Simon Russell Beale as Simon Strong</h4>



Simon Strong is a member of the Night’s Watch, the order tasked with guarding the Wall at the northernmost end of the Seven Kingdoms. He is the great-great-uncle of Lord Larys Strong, who rules in Harrenhal.



Simon Russell Beale, one of the biggest stars in the industry, will bring the character to life, adding even more prestige and epic scenes to the popular spin-off derived from <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/game-of-thrones">Game of Thrones</a>.



<h4>Michael Elwyn as Lord Staunton</h4>



Lord Staunton is the head of House Staunton, a noble family in the Seven Kingdoms. Additionally, he is a member of Rhaenyra’s council and the Lord of Rook’s Rest, so he will have an important role in the upcoming events.



Michael Elwyn has been the right choice to bring the character to life, known for other projects such as Doctor Who and Foundation, among other great television successes.

‘House of the Dragon’ Season 2: What time are the episodes released on Max?

Arcane is just a few months away from premiering its <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix/netflixs-arcane-when-is-season-2-of-the-league-of-legends-series-coming">second season</a>, which will mark the end of the series on Netflix. Since its debut on the platform in 2021, it has become one of the most popular titles.



That’s why the creators wanted to give the story the closure it deserves. So, once again, we will have the sisters reunited, but this time on opposite sides, as we saw in the season 1 finale.



The first teaser has already been released and we could see which stars will be returning to voice the characters, as well as some iconic lines, like when Vi searches for Jinx by her new nickname and she says, “Finally got the name right“.
