The D23 Expo took place recently, and Disney‘s biggest announcements have been revealed. One of them was the new episodes of one of the most popular fantasy series of the year so far…

The second season of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” promises to continue being an exciting and faithful adaptation that will keep fans and new viewers hooked on the adventures of the character and his friends.

Rick Riordan and the cast, led by Walker Scobell, teased the start of production with an incredible teaser. The new installment will follow the events of “The Sea of Monsters“, the second book in the iconic saga.

When will Season 2 of Percy Jackson be released?

The second season of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” has begun production, so it’s likely we’ll see the series‘ new episodes sometime in 2025, although the exact date has not yet been confirmed.

At D23, a brief teaser, lasting only a few seconds, of “Sea Of Monsters” was shown. In it, we saw Percy returning to Camp Half-Blood, riding in a blue chariot guided by two eager white horses.

First, they did a recap of the events that occurred in the first season, which made the series one of the most-watched on Disney+ for several weeks, and then they gave fans the news.

Rick Riordan and the main stars (Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri and Walker Scobell) flew to Anaheim from Vancouver to attend the event over the weekend, where they teased a romance between the characters and other details.
