The film, co-directed by Kirk DeMicco and Faryn Pearl (in her official directorial debut), was originally released in 2023, arrived on the platform on Feb. 20, and in only two days have become the most popular film in the US (as for Feb. 22).

Talking to Animation Magazine, producer Kelly Cooney Cilella explained that Ruby’s self-discovery journey and her “embracing” a new side of her “was such an exciting story for me to tell on such a grand scale.” Actually, the movie was inspired by some teen classics such as Easy A (2010), Lady Bird (2017) and Booksmart (2019), as DeMicco told the magazine.



Despite having popularity on streaming, the film was a box office failure, grossing $46 million against a $70 million budget. Meanwhile, reviews were mixed, with some praising the cast and animation, but criticized the script.

On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 66% of 98 critics’ reviews are positive. “This Is Going to Hurt” is a British medical dramedy, which follows a cohort of junior doctors employed in an obstetrics and gynecology ward within a National Health Service hospital. As other medical dramas, it showcases the emotional toll of the demanding workplace.

<h2>Who is in the cast of “Irish Wish”?</h2>



Lohan, who is a veteran of the genre with titles such as “Just My Luck” or “The Parent Trap,” stars as Maddie, a very different character from her previous one in “Falling For Christmas.” The actress described Maddie as “a bit of a bookworm,” in an interview with Netflix Tudum back in November.



“She’s a nerd, which I loved playing. But she’s a sweetheart. She’s kind of naive, and she keeps it that way because her head is always focused on writing and stuff,” she said to Netflix.

Before “Anyone But You,” Will Gluck took inspiration from Nathaniel Hawthorne’s “The Scarlet Letter” to create a teen classic, “Easy A.” The film stars Emma Stone as Olive, who becomes an outcast when a series of rumors about her intimate life start circulating out of control.

Gluck takes advantage of Shakespeare’s original play to, well, play with deceptiveness and comedic situations while following the same principle: Bea and Ben start as enemies (or rivals), while they also are being pushed by friends and family to get together.

After being released on <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix">Netflix</a> on Feb. 15th, “Crossroads” has become the eighth most-watched <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movie</a> on the platform in the US, according to FlixPatrol. The film, which stars <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/britney-spears">Britney Spears</a> and Zoe Saldana, is celebrating 22 years since its release and it has become a cult classic.



The coming-of-age drama was directed by Tamra Davis, who is known for her work on other notable films such as “Billy Madison” and “Half Baked.” It was Spears’ acting debut, in which she shared the screen with other stars such as Zaldana, Taryn Manning, Anson Mount, Dan Aykroyd, and Kim Cattrall.

<h2>‘Crossroads’ revisited: More than a Spears’ stars vehicle</h2>



‘Crossroads’ was, from its conception, Spear’s star vehicle and critics at the time of its release didn’t love it. The majority of the reviews slammed the script, and were divisive regarding Spears’ performance. While some critics believed she came off as “likable,” others thought her acting was insincere.



However, 20 years later, many critics have found that the film is better than how it was received, especially when it’s reinterpreted in the wake of Spear’s own career and life. For example, Rob Sheffield from Rolling Stone wrote that it has been “hidden for too long. Like Britney herself, it deserves a chance to break free.”

Meanwhile, Mekita Rivas from Harper’s Bazaar recently wrote that “The film’s plot, which turns 20 today, is essentially a loose recounting of Spears’s own journey from a small-town Southern girl to a global superstar.”



Of course, this is not rare as Spears and her team developed the concept for it, which was later written by a pre-Grey’s Anatomy Shonda Rhimes. While the movie is, on its exterior, a tale of friendship and love, it also deals with darker themes (although, with an admittedly light approach) such as bodily autonomy, teen pregnancy, abuse and more.

“Honestly, the chemistry I saw between Syd and [Glen]… people always talk about chemistry, that crazy word, but the first time Sydney arrived in Australia that Sunday, straight from Italy after filming her movie ‘Immaculate,’ which is this Italian Vatican movie. She came to Sydney on Sunday, they sat where we were staying, and they started rehearsing, and in about a minute, I thought, ‘Oh my God, thank God. The movie is directed by Trish Sie, who recently helmed Prime Video’s “Sitting in Bar With Cake,” as well as other well-known titles such as “Step Up All In” and “Pitch Perfect 3.” Meanwhile, the script was written by Whit Anderson, who has also written for “Daredevil” and “Ozark.”

The British writer explained in 2011, through an article in The Guardian, that the main idea first came to him when he was studying for his A-Levels in the mid-80s, so not everything is entirely fictional.



Nicholls was reading Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the d’Urbervilles and it was there that he was struck by the dates, including a specific quote. This quote had a special place in the series, as there is a scene where Emma recites it. It goes:



“She philosophically noted dates as they came past in the revolution of the year. Her own birthday, and every other day individualised by incidents in which she had taken some share. She suddenly thought, one afternoon, that there was another date, of greater importance than all those; that of her own death; a day which lay sly and unseen among all the other days of the year, giving no sign or sound when she annually passed over it; but not the less surely there. When was it?”.



<h2>David Nicholls was inspired by his life to make One Day</h2>



The author confessed to The Guardian that some aspects of his life were reflected in the story of One Day. One of them was his time as an actor or his time working in a chain of bistros in Fulham. During the interview, he confessed:



“When I was an actor, I worked with a lot of men who had some success early on, who were very good-looking, who suddenly made some money and who felt no shame – and nor should they have – about having a good time. I think there are probably bits of them in Dexter”.

<h2>Martin Brest confesses that Gigli was a disaster</h2>



According to Rolling Stone magazine, in a new interview with Variety, the director said he doesn’t even call “Gigli” by its name and that the project started out quite differently from its outcome, labeling it as “a bloody mess that deserved its excoriation.”



“Of all the movies I’ve worked on, I know them inside and out. Frankly, I don’t even know what that movie is like because of the way it took shape. Even the name… I refer to it as ‘the G movie.’ Probably the less said about it, the better”, he confessed.

The show has positioned itself not only as one of the newest and most popular trends in the Amazon catalog but has also managed to surpass other interesting productions in the Top 10 of different countries, according to the metrics site Flix Patrol.



Seong So Jak‘s creation has not finished releasing all the episodes of the first season, which debuted on the service on January 24 of this year. The next installment will be the penultimate and will only be added on Monday, February 19, while the finale will arrive the next day.

According to Flix Patrol, the title not only claimed the podium but has also surpassed other popular Amazon productions, including the new Mr. &amp; Mrs. Smith with Donald Glover and Maya Erskine, Reacher with Alan Ritchson and Hazbin Hotel.



The narrative is based on a popular web novel with the same original Korean title (Nae Nampyeongwa Gyeolhonhaejweo), adapted for television by Shin Yoo-dam, and has been a massive success so far.



The story follows Ji-won, a woman with a limited life, who returns 10 years back and dreams of revenge after being murdered by her husband, who had an affair with her best friend. Action, suspense, romance, and even madness are not lacking in the plot.



Park Min-Young portrays the main character, while Na In-woo brings Yoo Ji-Hyeok to life, and Song Ha-yoon plays Jeong Soo-min. The list of talented actors is quite extensive, with various other artists credited in key roles.



<h2>Who created the soundtrack?</h2>



The soundtrack of Marry My Husband played a significant role in the success of the webtoon-based series. It was not only one of the most sought-after aspects of the production, but many have wanted to know which songs are featured throughout the 16 episodes.

The first musical piece, titled “Game”, was released on January 2nd, composed by Park Sung-il with lyrics by Lee Chi-hoon and performed by Lyn. The second song is called “Starting today” and is performed by Vincent Blue.

The <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/marvel">Marvel</a> Cinematic Universe finally has its ‘Fantastic Four.’ On Feb. 14th, the studio confirmed the main cast for the upcoming film: <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/pedro-pascal">Pedro Pascal</a> will play Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby plays Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn is Johnny Storm/The Human Torch and, finally, Ebon Moss-Bachrach will play Ben Grimm/Thing.



Despite all the recent talk of superhero fatigue, fans of the comics have been expecting a reboot of the beloved superheroes for years. Especially after Disney, who also owns Marvel Studios, acquired the rights of the characters in 2019 (after they acquired 21st Century Fox).

Disney not only announced the cast, they also confirmed a new release date for the film: July 25, 2025. They also changed the release dates for “Thunderbolts” (now set for May 2, 2025). <h2>A new reboot for the Fantastic Four</h2>



In typical Marvel’s fashion, specifics about the story are scarce. The film will be directed by Matt Shakman (“WandaVision,” “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters”). Meanwhile, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer wrote the script.



In the comics, the Fantastic Four start out as astronauts who become superheroes after exposure to cosmic rays in space. Reed gains the ability to stretch his body to extraordinary length, while his girlfriend Sue becomes invisible and creates strong force fields. Meanwhile, Johnny, Sue’s brother, turns into fire and Ben, Reed’s best friend, becomes something of a giant orange rock with superhuman strength.

Of course, this is not the first time that the iconic superheroes have graced the big screen. Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis first portrayed the heroes in 2005 and in a sequel in 2007. Then, the franchise was rebooted in 2015, with Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell playing the titular characters.



<h2>A star-studded cast</h2>



Fans have been speculating about the new cast, and the news didn’t disappoint. Pascal solidifies his position with arguably the most significant role of his career, following his leading roles in “The Mandalorian” and “The Last Of Us,” the latter earning him nominations for the Golden Globes and Emmys.



Meanwhile, Kirby received an Oscar nomination for her leading role in “A Pieces of a Woman” (2020). She is also known for appearing in the Mission Impossible franchise since 2018, as well as portraying Princess Margaret in “The Crown” (for which she won the BAFTA).



Quinn, on the other hand, is best known for portraying Eddie in Season 4 of “Stranger Things.” However, the actor is set to appear in big movies in 2024, including “A Quiet Place: Day One” and “Gladiator 2.”



Moss-Bachrach is coming from winning the Golden Globe and the Emmy for his role as Richard in “The Bear.” He is also well-known for playing David Lieberman/Micro in the series “The Punisher.”

Julia Garner was one of the acclaimed additions and will bring to life one of the most important characters for the plot: Shalla-Bal, a version of Silver Surfer from the comics. The cast continues to expand with each passing week, and not only has it been confirmed that filming will begin at the end of July, but also several mega-popular figures will be present. The latest additions have been John Malkovich in an unknown role, Ralph Ineson as Galactus, Paul Walter Hauser and Natasha Lyonne.
