Mob Girl

Jennifer Lawrence will star in “Mob Girl“, a crime thriller that is currently in pre-production and will be directed by Paolo Sorrentino, based on a screenplay developed by Angelina Burnett.

The story follows a woman who, after years of being involved with the mafia, begins to participate in criminal activities and ultimately becomes an informant for the police and a key witness in the government’s case against a criminal family.

The narrative is based on the novel by Teresa Carpenter, who also assisted with the screenplay adaptation, not only for this film but also for other titles like “Star 80” and “20/20”.

Burial Rites

Burial Rites” will bring together Jennifer Lawrence with acclaimed Italian director Luca Guadagnino. The actress will portray Agnes in the drama, which does not yet have a definitive release date as it is in production.

Untitled comedy with Amy Schumer

Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence will team up to co-write a comedy whose plot will follow sisters with opposite personalities. One is a type-A personality dreaming of becoming a flight attendant, while the other is a total mess.

The actresses will not only be behind the camera but will also star in the film. So far, only the two of them and Charles Barber (My Father Die, Hell Heist and Camera Obscura) have been confirmed as cast members.

Die, My Love

Die, My Love” has it all: comedy, drama and plenty of horror. The movie, currently in production, will be directed by Lynne Ramsay, known for “We Need to Talk About Kevin”, and she also co-wrote the screenplay.

The story is based on a novel by Ariana Harwicz and is set in a remote, forgotten rural area, following a mother struggling to maintain her sanity as she battles psychosis.

So far, Jennifer Lawrence is the only confirmed cast member, making this one of her many upcoming projects but the only one within the horror genre at the moment…

Frank Sinatra biopic

Finally, after many ups and downs, Frank Sinatra will have his own biopic. This will be carried out by Martin Scorsese as the director, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence in the lead roles.

DiCaprio will bring the iconic singer to life, while Lawrence will portray his second wife, Ava Gardner, known as one of the most famous actresses and Hollywood stars of those years.

The film has been in development since 2017 but has faced challenges in moving forward. Now, it’s closer to becoming a reality and has taken a significant step forward by securing its two main characters.
