<p>This isn’t the first time the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/drama">drama</a> has been set in motion; the filmmaker has been pursuing the idea for several years. In 2017, he backed off because the star’s children did not approve of what they were doing.</p>



<h2>Leonardo DiCaprio will portray Frank Sinatra</h2>



<p>The Oscar-winning actor, who has already worked six times with the acclaimed director, has been chosen to bring <strong>Frank Sinatra</strong> to life in his highly anticipated biopic, which will explore the life of the iconic singer.</p>



<p>The official plot is not yet known, but according to World of Reel, Scorsese confessed that he hoped to approach the project as a complex portrait of the ups and downs the singer experienced over the years.</p>

<h2>Killers of the Flower Moon is a frontrunner for major awards</h2>



<p>‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ has already collected several recognitions such as being honored as the <strong>Best Film of the Year </strong>by the<strong> National Board of Review</strong>, as well as being named to the American Film Institute’s list of Motion Pictures of the Year. It has also been honored as the best feature of 2023 by the New York Film Critics Circle.</p>

<p>It received<strong> 12 Critics Choice Award nominations </strong>and 7 Golden Globe Award nominations, and it’s poised to be one of the favorites at the Oscars. Nods for Lily Gladstone (Best Actress), Martin Scorsese (Best Director) and Best Picture are being predicted.</p>



<p>The film, which reportedly had a production budget of<strong> $200 million</strong>, grossed <strong>$156 million at the global box office</strong> (distributed by Paramount). However, while it didn’t break even, experts still debate if it’s a hit or a miss for Apple, as it’s not a traditional studio. Streaming views and subscriptions will tell the whole story.</p>



<h2>Where was ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ filmed?</h2>



<p>With such a big production budget, Scorsese got to do the movie as big as he wanted to. The film was shot on location in <strong>Oklahoma,</strong> with production designer <strong>Jack Fisk </strong>(The Revenant, There Will Be Blood) creating the sets with about $15 million from the budget, according to what he told Architectural Digest.</p>
