When Christopher Nolan released the plot for “Oppenheimer,” some fans complained because they wanted another sci-fi film. Their everlasting love for these creations of his rings true in the case of “Inception,” which is currently among the Top 10 movies on Max US.

Critics used to say that after Nolan directed “The Dark Knight,” no one would pay attention to his upcoming titles due to the high quality of that Batman installment. On the contrary, the movie led by Leonardo DiCaprio became one of his highest-grossing creations, even surpassing “Interstellar.”

From being nominated for Best Picture at the 2011 Oscars to ranking as the #14 movie of all time on IMDb, it was more than just a box office hit. Furthermore, there are many who are still waiting for its sequel.

It has managed to surpass “Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part One,” which was added to the platform a few months ago and has been an ongoing hit. However, it seems like the film can’t outshine “War for the Planet of the Apes,” which is being intensely rewatched due to “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” premiering in theaters in three days.

The film follows a thief who enters people’s dreams to steal corporate secrets, called Dom Cobb. Suddenly, he is offered a chance to have his criminal history erased if he can plant an idea into a CEO’s mind.

While Leonardo DiCaprio shines as the lead, his co-stars are equally impressive. “Inception” features stellar performances by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Ken Watanabe, Tom Hardy, and Cillian Murphy.
