In an unexpected and brilliant phenomenon, the Argentine dramedy “(Un)lucky Sisters” has climbed to the fourth spot on Netflix‘s global ranking, becoming a must-watch on the platform this week.

This dazzling achievement reflects not only the appeal of fresh and original stories from Argentina but also the growing influence of such productions among the streaming giant’s users.

Fabiana Tiscornia directed the film, while Mariano Vera developed the script. Sofía Morandi (P*rn and Ice Cream) and Leticia Siciliani (Planners), the two lead actresses, have delivered incredible performances.

(Un)lucky Sisters ranked No. 4 movie on Netflix worldwide

Five days after the big premiere of “(Un)lucky Sisters“, the Argentine comedy has become one of Netflix’s most-watched movies worldwide, securing the No. 4 spot in the Top 10, according to the specialized site Flix Patrol.

Sofía Morandi, Leticia Siciliani, Andrea Garrote and Mariano Saborido are some of the stars in the main cast of the drama, which has a runtime of 82 minutes and has received mixed reviews.

The title, which in Spanish is “Las hermanas fantásticas“, received a score of 62 out of 100 on some review platforms. Therefore, it is one of the most entertaining options to watch right now.

The story follows two sisters who don’t know each other. Upon their father’s death, they inherit an apartment in Puerto Madero with 3 million euros hidden inside. Together, they will have to figure out what to do with the money and with their relationship.
