Emma Stone has won her second Oscar for “Poor Things,” in one of the less expected wins of the 96th Academy Awards. While she was a strong contender, thanks to her BAFTA, SAG and Golden Globes wins, Lily Gladstone was also a frontrunner and the race was very close.

“All the women on the stage, incredible. And the women in this category, Sandra, Annette, Carey, Lily, I share this with you, I am in awe of you. It has been such an honor to do all this together and I hope we keep doing more together,” she said while accepting the award.

At 35 years old, Stone joins the selected group of performers to have won at least two Oscars, with the first one being for her role in “La La Land.” While not the youngest to do so, she has earned the right to be considered one of the best (if not, the best) talents of her generation.
