Disney confirmed today that the animated blockbuster will begin streaming exclusively on Disney+ on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

The announcement comes after a lucrative 97-day theatrical window following the film’s June 19 release, where it scored a massive $159 million opening weekend and went on to become the highest-grossing installment in the franchise’s 31-year history. The Disney+ streaming date arrives just one day after its physical 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray release on September 22.
