“Challengers” is one of the most anticipated films of 2024 and is poised to be one of the most successful in Luca Guadagnino‘s career, the director responsible for bringing the R-rated sports drama to life.
The first teaser has already been released, showcasing how three of the hottest young stars of the moment come together: Zendaya (Euphoria), Mike Faist (West Side Story) and Josh O’Connor (The Crown).
In addition to the incredible and gripping story told by the production, many have been paying attention to the soundtrack, as it features a long list of hits, such as Rihanna‘s S&M and Nelly Furtado‘s Maneater.
Will Zendaya sing for Challengers?
It wouldn’t be a surprise if Zendaya sings on a song that is part of the Challengers soundtrack, especially because we’ve seen her return to music during some episodes of Euphoria (All for Us, Elliot’s Song and I’m Tired).
However, all indications suggest otherwise; the Spider-Man actress would not be part of the list of artists present. Many estimate that her performance as Tashi Donaldson will be what earns her the title of Oscar nominee.
