Zendaya Says Tom Holland Brings the Same Commitment Off Screen
As excitement builds around “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” Zendaya highlighted the qualities she has come to admire most about her longtime co-star and partner. While praising Holland’s performance, she also pointed to the role he has taken on away from the cameras throughout the production.

“I admire many things about him. I think, as an actor, he is so talented,” Zendaya told Entertainment Tonight before describing how she has watched him grow “into such a leadership position on this film.”
She also emphasized Holland’s connection to the arachnid, explaining that his dedication goes beyond delivering a performance. “I think he cares so much about Peter Parker, the character, and you can really see that,” she shared.
For Zendaya, that commitment extends well beyond filming. She noted that many young fans see Holland as the real thing, adding, “Little kids don’t know that he is not Spider-Man, and I think he wears that with pride.”
She ended on a heartfelt note by praising the man behind the iconic superhero. “It’s nice to know that the person wearing the suit is a good person and cares,” Zendaya said.
