After a few years of waiting, fans of A Quiet Place can finally learn how the post-apocalyptic world of the franchise originated, thanks to its new prequel directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig with Nicolas Cage and Fight Night Legacy).
Starring Joseph Quinn and Lupita Nyong’o, A Quiet Place: Day One is a perfect combination of chaos, horror and a substantial amount of drama. John Krasinski and Bryan Woods have returned to develop the script alongside the director.
The movie is expected to gross more than $40 million at the domestic box office, making it one of the best works of the year, especially within the horror and science fiction genres.
When will ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ be online?
“A Quiet Place: Day One” follows the trend of its predecessors and, after its theatrical release, is expected to arrive on the streaming platforms Paramount+ and Prime Video, although the exact date has not yet been confirmed.
In the case of the latter, the movie will be available for Paramount+ subscribers through Amazon’s platform, meaning you can watch it there if you have an active subscription, whose most basic plan costs $5.99.
