Hunter Schafer will bring the character Hilda to life and will also join the co-protagonists, alongside Jessica Brown Findlay, Sian Clifford and Isaura Barbé-Brown. The release date for its debut on the big screen is yet to be announced.

The Lifebout is an upcoming drama film that falls within the crime and suspense genre. The director for the project has not been confirmed yet, but it is known that the script will be written by William Broyles Jr. and Charlotte Rogan, the original author.
So far, Anne is the only confirmed cast member who will bring the story to life. Hathaway will portray Grace Winter, a young woman on trial for murder, who recounts how she survived a shipwreck at sea in a lifeboat that initially carried too many people.

Anne Hathaway will join forces with Ewan McGregor in Flowervale Street, the upcoming film written and directed by David Robert Mitchell, which will be released in theaters on May 16, 2025.
Deadline reported that while the film is teased as an “exciting journey” to be shot in IMAX, production is set to begin this fall. Warner Bros. Pictures, Bad Robot, and Jackson Pictures are the companies spearheading the project.
The Idea of You – may 2, 2024
The Idea of You is Hathaway’s upcoming film that blends romance, drama, and a boyband. The actress will co-star as Soléne in the adaptation of the book written by Robinne Lee, alongside Nicholas Galitzine, who plays Haynes.
Directed by Michael Showalter, with a screenplay adaptation by him and Jennifer Westfeldt, Prime Video confirmed that the title will be added to the catalog on May 2.
The plot follows Solène Marchand, a 40-year-old single mother who embarks on an unexpected romance with 24-year-old Hayes Campbell, the lead singer of the world’s most popular boy band, August Moon.
Mathilda Gianopoulos, Reid Scott, Ella Rubin, Annie Mumolo, Jordan Aaron Hall, Perry Mattfeld, Cheech Manohar and Jaiden Anthony are some of the actors who will accompany the stars during the nearly two-hour R-rated drama.
