Argylle is one of the action-comedy spy films that, despite being a critical failure, has been accumulating new views in the Apple TV+ catalog, not only in the United States but also worldwide.

Just two days ago, the high-budget drama, directed by Matthew Vaughn and written by Jason Fuchs, has become the most-watched on the platform, surpassing other important productions.

Henry Cavill and Dua Lipa joined as two of the main characters alongside John Cena, who plays Wyatt, an outgoing and charismatic secret agent hired to catch LaGrange before he can escape.

Apple TV+ has updated its Top 10 in the United States again, and this time it’s Argylle‘s turn to shine, the movie that brings together a wide cast of stars and is packed with action, comedy, suspense and unexpected twists.

The dramatic thriller has become the most-watched in the American and global catalog, according to the daily report published by Flix Patrol. It managed to surpass Napoleon, the historical drama starring Joaquin Phoenix.

The story follows reclusive author Elly Conway, whose novel plots begin to mirror the covert actions of a real-life spy organization, turning her quiet evenings at home into a thing of the past.

Accompanied by her cat Alfie and Aiden, a spy allergic to cats, the writer travels the world to stay one step ahead of the assassins as the line between her fictional world and reality begins to blur.

Bryce Dallas Howard brings the main character, the author of the novels, to life, but she was certainly not the only one to shine in the scenes; on the contrary, she was accompanied by big names and talents.
