Bob Parr will also have a major storyline of his own. While the younger members of the family are trying to establish themselves, Bob is dealing with a changing superhero world and questioning his own place in it. “A new threat is taking a heavy toll on Bob, who’s grappling with his own relevance in a world of Supers that may have outgrown him,” Docter said.



The danger facing the Parr family appears to extend far beyond another ordinary supervillain. Docter teased the arrival of “a super villain with more power than all the family put together and all of the supers,” although Edna Mode interrupted before he could reveal more. That leaves the identity and full capabilities of the new antagonist under wraps for now.



The sequel arrives a decade after “Incredibles 2,” which opened in 2018 and became one of Pixar’s biggest box office successes, earning more than $1.2 billion worldwide. “Incredibles 3” is currently scheduled for June 16, 2028, with Peter Sohn directing and Brad Bird writing the screenplay and executive producing.
