After three seasons filled with success, adventure and challenges, <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix">Netflix</a> has confirmed that one of its most iconic <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/series">series</a> will return to the catalog with new episodes. We’re talking about none other than Outer Banks.



The show, created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate and Shannon Burke, has been renewed for a fourth season, which has already finished filming and will bring back to the screen all the main stars of the drama, such as Madelyn Cline.



The episodes will continue to be set in the paradisiacal Outer Banks of North Carolina, where it follows the lives of a group of friends called the “Pogues”, whose group is often led by the character played by Chase Stokes.



<h2>Will the fourth season of Outer Banks be the last?</h2>



Just two days ago, Netflix announced that the production of the fourth season had already been completed, so The Pogues have finished their work for the new episodes, which will arrive with more <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/drama">drama</a> and chaos than ever.

The platform has not confirmed whether the fourth season will be the last, so there is still hope that it will be renewed for a fifth installment. However, its main actors have been quite busy.



Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline have become two of the most popular young stars in current Hollywood, so it remains to be seen if they still have time to travel to the paradisiacal filming sets for a new opportunity.

After the massive success of “Inside Out” and its recently released sequel, it was expected that Pixar would expand the universe inside Riley’s mind, so a spin-off <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/series">series</a> was announced…

Well, at the moment not much is known about the cast or the characters that will appear, but there will undoubtedly be new ones, as it will follow Dream Productions, the movie studio inside Riley’s mind that makes up her dreams.



This means there will be new characters in the protagonist’s mind and Joy, Anger, Disgust, Sadness and Fear might make cameo appearances or appear at specific moments in the episodes.

Her exact age isn’t known, but Baduza was born in 1996. So, she must be between 27 and 28 years old. She is from East London, South Africa, and was raised there. In an interview with The Independent, Baduza explained how it was growing up in the African country “shortly after Apartheid ended.”



“We had a rule book of things we could and couldn’t do to our hair—including one that said Black girls couldn’t wear their natural afros because it was unprofessional and it looked unkempt,” she told the newspaper. “Having that as your mindset as a young Black girl is just…traumatizing. It’s kind of like who you are naturally is not good enough,” she added.

Known historically as the ‘Nine Days’ Queen, Lady Jane Grey was an English noblewoman who briefly claimed the throne of England and Ireland from July 10 to July 19, 1553. Her short-lived reign is one of the most tragic tales in royal history, culminating in her execution at just 17 years old.



She was known for being one of the most learned young women, and she was married to Lord Guildford Dudley, a younger son of Edward VI’s chief minister John Dudley, Duke of Northumberland.

As the great-niece of Henry VIII and the great-granddaughter of Henry VII, Jane was in the line of succession. Under the will of Henry VIII, she was behind her cousins, Mary I and Elizabeth I. However, in June 1553, her first cousing, the dying Edward VI, wrote his will, nominating her and her male heirs as first successors of the Crown. Part of the reason was that she was a Protestant, while Mary was Catholic.



Thus, Jane was proclaimed queen on July 10, 1553, following the death of Edward VI. However, Jane’s reign was quickly challenged by Mary I, the daughter of Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon. Mary I swiftly overthrew Jane, leading to Jane’s imprisonment in the Tower of London and her subsequent execution on Tower Green on February 12, 1554.



At her execution, Jane’s final moments were marked by panic as she groped for the block after being blindfolded, and her last words were a poignant prayer: “Lord, into thy hands I commend my spirit.”



<h2>A different ending in ‘My Lady Jane’: What Hand said about the book</h2>



In contrast to the grim reality, the series aims to reimagine and reframe Jane’s life in a more empowering and less tragic light. Hand, one of the authors, explained in an interview with Publishers’ Weekly that her inspiration stemmed from a desire to give Lady Jane Grey a different ending.

<h2>‘House of the Dragons’ Season 2 opens up with positive reviews</h2>



While the first season of ‘House of the Dragon’ was considered a success, it’s true that there were still some doubts about its ability to surpass its predecessor. However, it seems like critics are praising the second season, especially for being “bleaker” than GOT. It holds a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes. 



Alison Herman of Variety wrote: “In Season 2, “House of the Dragon” feels like it’s finally the show it was always meant to be. What all that runway was leading up to, it turns out, is a tragedy of epic proportions, bleaker than even the famously violent and cynical “Game of Thrones” could ever dream.”

Meanwhile, Mike Hale of The New York Times, reviewing the first four episodes of the installment, isn’t so impressed. He singles out Eve Best and Ewan Mitchell as the best performers of the show, saying that except for them no one makes “a significant impression.” He also thinks that the story is “neither interesting enough to pull us consistently into the flow nor weird enough to rattle our chains.”

While promoting his latest film, the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/kevin-costners-new-movie-all-you-need-to-know-about-horizon-an-american-saga-20240227-SPEN-8191.html">epic Western “Horizon,”</a> Kevin Costner admitted that he was open to returning to “Yellowstone,” which is filming its second half of Season 5, despite previous reports that he was at odds with the producers. However, this is not the first time that he doubled down on his love for the show.



The <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/oscars">Oscar</a> winner told Today that he would “love to go back to under the right circumstances I think that all of us want,” adding that the series has been “really important to him.” He added that “there’s always a chance,” and he wanted to be “really clear” about the fact that he loves the project.



The <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/series">series</a> is currently in production for its final episodes, after the production delays both from the reported conflict with Costner and the Hollywood strikes. Now, it will premiere in November 2024. However, in recent months, the actor and director has opened up about his real reasons to leave the show, clearing up rumors that he didn’t want to work “for more than a week.”



<h2>Costner reveals what really ‘bothered’ him about Yellowstone’s rumors</h2>



In May, Costner told GQ that the reason for his abrupt exit from the show was the decision to split Season 5 in two halves, creating a scheduling conflict with his passion project “Horizon.” The Oscar winner told them that he had a contract to do his film: “I think there was a belief that I couldn’t get it mounted, but I didn’t really care what anybody believed.”



The actor also clarified the rumor that he “only wanted to work one week,” saying that the script delay for the second half of Season 5 came late, and he only had a week before he had to move to “Horizon.”

“My big disappointment is I never heard Paramount or 101 really come to my defense and say, ‘That’s not true. He was going to do three more seasons.’ I started off only giving three seasons, ended up doing five and got embroiled in a thing that I don’t feel one person over there ever told the story correctly, ever, about what I had done and what I’ve been willing to do,” he explained to the outlet.



“That’s really f- bothered me, that none of them would actually try to set the record straight,” Costner concluded. However, since then, it seems like he has softened towards the idea of a return. 



He told ET back in April that he would like to end John Dutton’s arc in the series. “Maybe this will circle back to me. If it does and I feel really comfortable with [it], I’d love to do it,” he revealed.

With the release of two of the most-highly anticipated series of the year, <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/bridgerton">“Bridgerton”</a> and “House of the Dragon,” as well as other shows such as “The Bear,” June has been a big month for TV fans. However, some of the stars of these series, such as Olivia Cooke and Claudia Jessie, have worked together in other critical acclaim shows. Such as the period drama “Vanity Fair,” which is available on Prime Video.



This 2018 miniseries, which consists of only seven episodes, had a star-studded cast, with names that had their big breaks years later such as <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/house-of-the-dragon">House of the Dragon</a>’s lead Cooke, who plays Alicent Hightower; as well as Jessie, who as Eloise Bridgerton has become a fan-favorite.

<h2>‘Vanity Fair,’ a must-watch period drama for ‘Bridgerton’ fans</h2>



“Vanity Fair” is an adaptation of the 1848 novel of the same name by William Makepeace Thackeray. The story follows the rise of orphan Becky Sharp among the English upper-class thanks to her connection with Amelia Sedley, a naive young girl. Set during the Napoleonic Wars, the novel was a satire of England’s shallow elites.



However, as any other great period drama, the story has romance, deception, yearning and two lead women characters that will appeal (or not) to the audience. Cooke portrays Becky, while Jessie plays Amelia. And the relationship between these two characters, in a way, mirror some of the themes that both Cooke and Jessie have explored in their new series: friendship, what it means to be a woman in a man’s world and so on.

Back in 2019, Cooke described her character as “incredibly powerful in her choices, yet herself and her choices are completely flawed,” adding that she didn’t think “either Amelia or Becky are heroes.” Something that Jessie agrees on. She told Metro.UK, that while many people see William Dobbin (Flynn) as a redeemable character, she thinks that the point of the story is “there’s no hero.”



While this one of the most recent adaptations of the novel, which has been brought to life also in film, TV and stage, it received positive reviews. Critics praised the performances of the cast, particularly Cooke’s. After the first season, Regé-Jean Page didn’t come back as the Duke, while Phoebe Dynevor, who played Daphne, only returned for Season 2. During a press meeting at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival on Saturday, June 15, Ashley told reporters, “I really hope so.” She added that both her and Bailey “adore” their characters, as well as “their relationship and what they mean for the show,” saying that they both will “do all we can with our schedules to make it work so that we can, hopefully.”

Meanwhile, Bailey hasn’t confirmed if he will return to Season 4, but he has expressed his desire to keep coming back to Bridgerton. “I look forward to supporting the rest of the family and the stories that go forward because if there is one thing I know about the beloved world is that you want to see them through and people invest their love and their time, and it means so much to so many people. So, yeah, me and Tony (Anthony) will be together for a while,” he told BAFTA.



However, it’s true that both of them have been busy. Ashley has two upcoming movies: the rom-com “Picture This” and “This Tempting Madness,” a psychological thriller. Meanwhile, Bailey will appear in the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/wicked-everything-to-know-about-the-upcoming-musical-with-ariana-grande-20240202-SPEN-4162.html">highly anticipated film adaptation of “Wicked”</a> this November as Fieyro, and he is expected to be nominated for an Emmy for his role in “Fellow Travelers.” He filmed the latter alongside Season 3 of Bridgerton, saying that it was “wild,” traveling from London to Canada to be able to do so.



<h2>Showrunner Jess Brownell says that she also hopes for a Kanthony return</h2>



In that same spirit, Bridgerton’s showrunner Jess Brownell told Variety that she “absolutely” hopes to see more of Kate and Anthony, but “it’ll be dependent on a lot of factors. It’ll be dependent on how much story the main couples take up, and whether there is story room. It will be dependent on whether the actors are available.”

The tension between characters in the second season of <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/house-of-the-dragon">House of the Dragon</a> is already palpable, and the new episodes not only promise epic scenes but will also bring a wave of “fire and blood“.

<h4>Tom Taylor as Lord Cregan Stark</h4>



Cregan Stark was the Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North during the 2nd century after the Conquest of Aegon. He is known for his role in the Targaryen civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons.



In the series, he is portrayed by <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/celebrities/tom-taylors-profile-age-love-life-and-more-of-the-house-of-the-dragon-actor">Tom Taylor</a> (The Last Kingdom and Us), and during the end of the first season, Jacaerys was sent to speak with him, making it an important recurring role in the second installment.

<h4>Abubakar Salim as Alyn of Hull</h4>



Alyn of Hull is an important figure in the history of House Velaryon and plays a significant role in the events following the Dance of the Dragons. He and his older brother were legitimized by Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen and were given the surname Velaryon.



Abubakar Salim has been chosen to portray the character and is best known for voicing characters in several major video game franchises. Among the most popular are Assassin’s Creed, Diablo and World of Warcraft.

<h4>Gayle Rankin as Alys Rivers</h4>



Alys Rivers was a bastard woman and healer residing in Harrenhal during the Targaryen civil war. She was attributed with magical abilities and prophetic visions. She had a significant influence on the events of the Dance of the Dragons.



She became the lover of Ser Aemond Targaryen, one of the main fighters of the Greens, who supported Aegon II Targaryen in his struggle against his half-sister Rhaenyra Targaryen for the Iron Throne.



The character will be brought to life by Gayle Rankin, the Scottish actress who previously worked in productions such as the series GLOW and the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movies</a> Bad Things, Men and Irreplaceable You, among others.



<h4>Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne Hightower</h4>



Gwayne Hightower is the son of Otto Hightower, the Hand of the King to several Targaryen kings, and the brother of Alicent Hightower, who becomes the wife of King Viserys I Targaryen in the first season.



As a member of House Hightower, his loyalty and actions are deeply intertwined with his family’s political and military machinations. His role as a knight contributes to the complex web of alliances.



Freddie Fox will bring the character to life in the second installment of HBO’s prequel and has previously appeared in projects such as Slow Horses, The Great, The Crown and some voice acting roles.



<h4>Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull</h4>



Addam of Hull was born a bastard and grew up in the port city of Hull. He was described as a brave young man skilled with dragons. During the Dance of the Dragons, Addam was legitimized by Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen.



He is the brother of Alyn and was one of the few individuals who managed to ride a dragon, specifically Seasmoke, the dragon previously ridden by Laenor Velaryon.



Clinton Liberty (Normal People and Red Election) is the one who will bring the character to life in the new episodes and will have a quite interesting role, as the dragon seeds will have the opportunity to claim unbound dragons.



<h4>Kieran Bew as Hugh</h4>



Hugh is a young squire of House Arryn who serves at the Hand’s Tourney in King’s Landing. During the tournament, he is selected as the opponent for the young knight Gregor Clegane in the jousting competition.



He is another dragon seed and used to live on Dragonstone. The actor chosen to bring the role to life is Kieran Bew, who previously worked on projects like the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/series">series</a> Warrior and some video games.



<h4>Tom Bennett as Ulf</h4>



Ulf the Immortal was an Ironborn, a warrior from the Iron Islands, known for his great size and strength. He served as the personal bodyguard and champion of Balon Greyjoy, the Lord of the Iron Islands during the War of the Usurper.



He participated in several battles, including the Battle of Fair Isle, where he fought on behalf of the Greyjoys against the forces loyal to the Iron Throne. Now, Tom Bennet is the one who will bring to life the character.



<h4>Simon Russell Beale as Simon Strong</h4>



Simon Strong is a member of the Night’s Watch, the order tasked with guarding the Wall at the northernmost end of the Seven Kingdoms. He is the great-great-uncle of Lord Larys Strong, who rules in Harrenhal.



Simon Russell Beale, one of the biggest stars in the industry, will bring the character to life, adding even more prestige and epic scenes to the popular spin-off derived from <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/game-of-thrones">Game of Thrones</a>.



<h4>Michael Elwyn as Lord Staunton</h4>
