Could we soon witness the rise of a new One Direction? Anything is possible in “Building The Band“, the upcoming reality-style series that Netflix plans to launch, with Liam Payne as a judge alongside other big stars.

The upcoming project has been described as a music competition with a vibe similar to “Love is Blind”, where 50 singers will form groups based solely on vocal chemistry before seeing each other.

Nicole Scherzinger and Kelly Rowland will join the 1D star as judges, while AJ McLean of The Backstreet Boys will host the episodes. The reality show promises to be both a social experiment and a singing competition.
