<p>Well, in the event that the arrival of “The Fall Guy 2” is confirmed, everything indicates that both <strong>Ryan Gosling</strong> and <strong>Emily Blunt</strong> would return to the big screen to resume the story where they left off and bring their characters to life.</p>



<p>The actress from Christopher Nolan’s <em>Oppenheimer</em> took on the role of Jody Moreno, while the actor from Greta Gerwig’s <em>Barbie</em> was chosen to be one of the leads and portray Colt Seavers, an action stuntman without limits.</p>

<p>The <strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movie</a></strong> <strong>wasn’t exactly a box-office success</strong>, it barely grossed $62 million against a $50 million budget, but it was critically acclaimed from the get-go and now it has become a cult-classic. In that sense, fans of the movie, which also stars Angourie Rice, haven’t stopped claiming for a <strong>sequel that hasn’t materialized yet.</strong></p>

<p>Talking to Comicbook.com, Gosling got candid about the idea of making a “The Nice Guys” sequel: <em>“So much of a sequel, I think, is decided by the opening weekend of a movie, and we opened up against Angry Birds,</em>” Gosling said. <em><strong>“So Angry Birds just, just destroyed us. Angry Birds got a sequel.”</strong></em></p>



<p>In truth, “Angry Birds” grossed $352 million worldwide, and got a 2019 sequel. Meanwhile, talking to Collider, Blunt revealed that she loved the film and said that Gosling did the <strong><em>“best drunk acting you’ve ever seen.”</em></strong> She also said that she would love to be a part of the sequel. <strong><em>“If Emily were in it, it would have happened,” </em></strong>Gosling added.</p>

<p>On the other hand, Black has shared that he did try to bring the Universe back but in a TV series. Per Comicbook.com, the director said in 2022 that they “caught the characters, <strong>but the plot was totally different.</strong> It was set in the present day, and no one wanted to buy it.”</p>

<p>Black also explained that ultimately it wouldn’t have worked as a series, because <strong>“TV tends to homogenize.”</strong> While The Nice Guys 2 seems distant, there’s an obvious interest in it. So, maybe, Warner Bros. would reconsider.</p>

<p>David Leitch, who helmed <strong>Brad Pitt’s “The Bullet Train” </strong>and co-directed the first <strong>“John Wick,” </strong>is also directing the project, which has been described as a love letter to stunt men. Speaking to <strong><em>Deadline</em></strong>, Leitch praised Gosling for being <strong>“the ultimate version of himself as an actor,” </strong>not only showcasing his comedic abilities, as well as his dramatic side.</p>



<p><em>“He gets to go everywhere and have so much fun with it, <strong>but then brings drama and stakes,”</strong></em> the director explained. <p>At the 2024 Oscars, <strong><em>Deadline</em></strong> asked Leitch how it was working with Ryan and he said that the actor was ready to give his all to the role. <em>“He was like ‘you know, I’ve been working as a <strong>romantic lead, as a comedic lead, and got to do an action movie </strong>(The Gray Man), I really want to do a movie that has all of it.’ And that’s what we did with ‘The Fall Guy,’”</em> he said.</p>



<p><em>“You really get to see him be this sort of ultimate version of himself as an actor. He gets to go everywhere and have so much fun with it, but then brings drama and stakes,”</em> the director added. In truth, the film plays with all the strengths of the actor, who has shined in comedies such as<strong> “Crazy, Stupid, Love,” “The Nice Guys,” </strong>and, of course,<strong> “Barbie.”</strong></p>

<p>Earlier on Sunday (March 10), Mendes shared a video of herself outside of Gosling’s dressing room for the Oscars ceremony, and she captioned it with <strong>“always by my man.”</strong> And, later, after his performance, the actress also posted a photo of herself with a pink suit and a cowboy hat.</p>

<p>The Daily Mail was the first media outlet to confirm the news, followed by Variety and other major sources. However, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has officially declined to comment, according to 23ABC Bakersfield.</p>



<p>The act of performing a song during the ceremony is a tradition that is part of the <em>Best Original Song</em> category, where the nominated melody belongs to <em>Barbie: The Album</em>. However, the Canadian actor and musician will not receive direct payment for his participation.</p>



<p>This is the case for all artists who are invited to perform, as generally, the opportunity to perform at the Oscars is considered an honor and valuable exposure for stars in the music industry.</p>



<h2>Who are the artists who will be performing?</h2>



<p>According to the Oscar-specialized website, The Gold Knight, the performers during the ceremony will be <strong>Scott George and the Osage Singers</strong>, <strong>Becky G</strong>, <strong>Jon Batiste</strong>, <strong>Ryan Gosling</strong> and <strong>Billie Eilish</strong> alongside <strong>Finneas O’Connell</strong>.</p>



<p>Additionally, it’s worth noting that an artist has also been selected to perform the <strong>In Memoriam</strong> segment, a task that was handled by Grammy winner and industry icon Lenny Kravitz last year.</p>

<p><em>“As long as Ken was wearing it, he was the Ken with the mink —<strong> and that separated him from the other Kens,</strong>” </em>he told <strong><em>Variety</em></strong>. <em>“Some of it also came from ‘The Bachelorette […] One guy’s the guy that wears glasses. One guy has the one earring. If you were to challenge and do the same thing as that person, <strong>you’d be infringing on their identity</strong>, and so Ken’s identity became the mink.”</em></p>

<h3>Project Hail Mary (2025)</h3>



<p>The actor will produce and star in Project Hail Mary, based on the novel of the same name by <strong>Andy Weir,</strong> which is centered on a solitary astronaut on a spaceship who is trying to save Earth. The project was announced back in 2021, but is still in pre-production. <strong>Phil Lord </strong>and <strong>Christopher Miller</strong> are attached to direct.</p>



<h3>Ocean’s Eleven prequel (TBD)</h3>



<p>Gosling is set to star alongside <strong>Margot Robbie </strong>once again in the “Ocean’s Eleven” prequel, which the actress is also producing. <p><strong>Margot Robbie</strong> and <strong>Ryan Gosling</strong> will share the screen once again in the upcoming <strong>“Ocean’s Eleven” prequel</strong>, which will be produced by Robbie’s banner LuckyChap, with her husband <strong>Tom Ackerley.</strong> However, the pair has debunked one of the ongoing rumors about the project in a recent interview with Variety: that Gosling and Robbie would play<strong> Danny Ocean’s parents.</strong></p>



<p>Talking with Variety about the success of LuckyChap, which is not only behind “Barbie” but also behind <strong>Emerald Fennell’s “Saltburn</strong>,” Robbie and Ackerley were asked about the upcoming Ocean’s Eleven prequel, which will be directed by<strong> Jay Roach</strong> (Austin Powers, Meet the Parents).</p>



<p>After interviewer<strong> Angelique Jackson</strong> said that <strong>George Clooney,</strong> who played Danny Ocean in the original films, mentioned <strong>“it made sense” that Gosling and Robbie would play his character’s parents</strong>, Ackerley and Robbie were quick to say that is a rumor that <strong>they haven’t confirmed or denied.</strong></p>



<h2>The Ocean’s Eleven prequel’s script hasn’t been finished</h2>



<p>After hearing Clooney’s praise, Robbie said that she was <em>“chuffed to hear that. <strong>That is extremely high praise.</strong> Wow, how exciting!” </em>However, Ackerley cleared up that <em>“[it] wasn’t a plot point that we’ve confirmed or denied. <strong>We’re still working on the script.</strong>”</em> The screenplay is being written by <strong>Carrie Solomon</strong>, who recently worked on Netflix’s upcoming ro-com “A Family Affair.”</p>



<p>Robbie added: “<em>So I don’t know who his parents will ultimately be or not be…,” </em>with Ackerley saying that they don’t know <strong><em>“if their parents are even in the movie.”</em></strong> So, while fans were excited to picture Robbie and Gosling as Ocean’s parents, there’s no real indication that the story will go there (at least, for now).</p>

<p>However, according to journalist <strong>Lindsey Bahr</strong>, director Jay Roach has confirmed that the prequel will be set in <strong>Monte Carlo in 1962. </strong>He said that Robbie described it as an<em><strong> “old-fashioned epic love story slash adventure disguised as a heist movie.” </strong></em>If that wasn’t enough to catch your attention, he and Robbie have also said it has been inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s “<strong>To Catch A Thief” </strong>and “<strong>Notorious.”</strong></p>



<h2>Roach praises Robbie and Gosling’s chemistry</h2>



<p>Of course, having Robbie and Gosling working together right after the massive success of “Barbie” is a double-edged sword. While they are electric together, audiences might still be attached to their Barbie and Ken characters. And that’s something that Roach considered.</p>



<p>According to Bahr, Roach said <strong>“there were some questions” </strong>about having the pair star together again after “Barbie,” but he thinks <strong><em>“there’s just some pairings you want to see over and over again.</em></strong><em> It’s such a powerful, powerful duo, you know? And it’s the suspense of will they come together; will they trust each other enough to team up? That’s romantic.”</em></p>
