The new SNL comedy special with Ryan Gosling and Chris Stapleton will take place on Saturday, April 13th during the evening and will be broadcast in the same way as always: live through NBC at 11:30/10:30c.

It will not only be available on the channel but also on their streaming platforms. The following day, Sunday the 14th, it will be added to the Peacock catalog, along with all episodes of the series up to now.

There hasn’t been any preview of the stars and their appearance yet, but it’s expected that they will showcase their comedy skills in several sketches. There, they could make references to Ryan’s role as Ken in Barbie.

Gosling has been a guest on the comedy show Saturday Night Live several times over the years. His first appearance was in December 2005, and this will be his second time in the role.

Meanwhile, Stapleton has been the musical guest on several occasions until 2024. On January 14, 2016, he appeared as the guest during an episode hosted by actor Adam Driver (Ferrari, House of Gucci and Marriage Story).

Two years later, he returned to showcase his music during an episode hosted by actor and comedian Donald Glover in 2018. There, he performed two songs: “Midnight Train to Memphis” and “Hard Livin“.
