Ryan Gosling was one of the biggest stars of the 2024 Oscars after giving the most-talked about performance of the night, a pink-filled rendition of “I’m Just Ken.” However, some fans of the actor were curious about something else: the whereabouts of his long-time partner, Eva Mendes.
Gosling attended the Academy Awards with his family, including his sister Mandi and his mom Donna, and stepfather Valerio Attanasio. His sister was sitting besides him during the ceremony, and she even got to keep his cowboy hat from the beginning of his performance.

Meanwhile, Mendes wasn’t in the audience, that doesn’t mean that she wasn’t supporting Gosling, who has several upcoming movies, from afar. In several Instagram posts and stories, the actress has reacted to the Barbie’s star’s show at the Oscars.

Earlier on Sunday (March 10), Mendes shared a video of herself outside of Gosling’s dressing room for the Oscars ceremony, and she captioned it with “always by my man.” And, later, after his performance, the actress also posted a photo of herself with a pink suit and a cowboy hat.
“You took Ken all the way to the Oscar’s, RG. Now come home, we need to put the kids to bed,” she wrote in the caption. And, finally, on Monday (March 11), she reposted on her stories a video from Francesca Scorsese, daughter of Martin Scorsesese, which showcased the director vibing to “I’m Just Ken” during the Oscars.

“I’m living for this major moment of your dad! How F cool!” she wrote. Gosling’s performance was the biggest number of the night, and he was joined on stage by Slash, Mark Ronson, Scott Evans, Simu Liu, Nucti Gatwa and Ben Kingsley, as well as other 65 dancers.

While in 2022, Mendes started referring to Gosling as her “husband,” the pair has never confirmed when they got married. Talking about the rumors in November 2022, Mendes said on Australia’s Kyle and Jackie O Show podcast: “But who says we weren’t already? I like to keep it all mysterious. I’m a very mysterious woman.” So, we can only speculate that they have been married for years without the public’s knowledge.
