The film is set to be released in September 2024.



It consists of three interconnected stories that chronicle the life of Charles Krantz in reverse, beginning with his death from a brain tumor at 39 and ending with his childhood in an allegedly haunted house.

Carrie series for Prime Video

While there is no release date or cast announced, we can expect it to feature some of his beloved muses (Kate Siegel and Henry Thomas, for example) and to be released in about a year, especially since a writers’ room has already been organized.

Jokingly nicknamed “The “Avengers of horror,” The Monkey is another Neon distribution based on an eerie story by Stephen King, produced by genre maestro James Wan and directed by Oz Perkins. We can already mark our calendars for February 21, 2025.



The plot follows twin brothers Bill and Hal, who discover their father’s old monkey toy in the attic, leading to a series of gruesome deaths. They decide to throw the toy away, but, of course, in King’s world, nothing discarded stays gone.
