According to FlixPatrol, as of Feb. 5th, the series is the eighth most-watched series on the platform worldwide.</p>



<p>However, in the US, the show isn’t available on the platform,<strong> but instead it can be streamed on Hulu.</strong> The series follows John Nolan, played by Nathan Fillion, a man in his forties who became the oldest rookie at the LAPD.</p>

<p>As we said, the film tells the story o<strong>f Freddie Steinmark,</strong> who was awarded a scholarship to play football for the University of Texas under the coaching of Darrell Royal (Eckhart) in the late 1960s.</p>

<p>Wang takes us back and forth in time to reveal how these three women are linked and how everything went wrong. The three following episodes will be released weekly every Friday, with the<strong> finale coming out Feb. 23</strong>.</p>



<p>In an interview with <strong><em>NPR,</em></strong> Wang explained that one of the reasons she made the show was because she, as an immigrant in the US, connects with the themes of the story. <em>“I saw that parallel in the journey of Hong Kong and what my family had experienced. It’s the reason that I’m here today.<strong> So are you grateful for it? Do you resent it? </strong>I mean, there’s no easy answer, but it certainly has influenced so much,” </em>she said.</p>

<p>Wang also explained that, unlike other series with rich people at their center (Succession, for example), she wanted to also give space for the working-class characters and servers.<em> “I think that it’s difficult to make a show about privilege and in a world of privilege <strong>without feeling like you’re celebrating i</strong>t,”</em> she said.</p>



<p>However, while she said she is <strong><em>“very conscientious”</em></strong> about that, she also tried <em><strong>“not to judge the privilege.”</strong></em> She wanted to break “the bubble,” but also asking the audience “to make their own” judgements.</p>

The film originally was released in 2012, and it has remained a favorite for fans of the genre.</p>



<p>McAdams stars as Paige, who after a traffic accident, wakes up after a coma and has <strong>forgotten her husband Leo</strong> (Tatum) and the life they had together. However, he is determined to <em>win her heart back once again</em>.</p>



<p>The <strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/category/films">film</a></strong> was directed by Michael Sucsy, and it also has S<strong>am Neill, Scott Speedman, Jessica Lange </strong>and<strong> Jessica McNamee</strong> in supporting roles. While it received mixed reviews from critics, it was a box office success (grossing over $190 million worldwide) and it seems to still have a second-life on streaming.</p>

<h2>The real story that inspired ‘The Vow’</h2>



<p>“The Vow” is loosely based on the true story of <strong>Kim and Krickitt Carpenter</strong>, who also wrote a book about their relationship. They married in September 1993, and two months later they were involved in a serious <strong>car accident on Thanksgiving</strong>.</p>



<p>As depicted by the movie, Krickitt suffered a brain trauma and when she woke up 21 days later, she didn’t remember her husband or their marriage. While Kim tried to help her recover her memory, nothing worked and he decided to court her again. Two years and countless dates later, the <strong>couple remarried.</strong></p>

<p>When promoting the film back in 2012, Tatum said to SFG that <em>“Leo’s a victim as well, even though he didn’t go through the windshield. <strong>He has to live with all those beautiful moments that are now gone</strong>, that he essentially has to erase in his mind.”</em></p>



<p>While the film ends up on a positive note, <strong>Carpenter’s story ended up differently</strong>. In 2018, the couple announced that they were divorcing after Kim had an affair. Krickett told <strong>“Inside Edition” </strong>at the time that the affair “was shocking and surprising.”</p>



<p>They have two children: a son, Danny, born in 2000 and a daughter, Lee Ann born in 2003. “Inside Edition” reported that Krickett moved into a townhouse with her daughter, while her son moved in with<strong> Kim.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Tim Burton</strong> will return to direct the sequel, with <strong>Brad Pitt</strong> producing. Undoubtedly, we can expect a new installment that is super gothic and eerie, especially with the acclaimed filmmaker teaming up with the actress who portrayed Wednesday Addams.</p>

<p><strong>Klara and the Sun</strong> is the upcoming film directed by <strong>Taika Waititi</strong> and starring Ortega in the role of Klara, while <strong>Amy Adams</strong> will portray Chris and <strong>Adebayo</strong> <strong>Abdulazeez</strong> will play Son. The project is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Nobel Prize-winning author <strong>Kazuo Ishiguro</strong>.</p>



<p>The story follows a robot girl designed to alleviate loneliness as she attempts to save a family of humans with broken hearts. According to Deadline, Klara is purchased by a mother and a brilliant teenager named Josie, who adores her new robot companion but suffers from a mysterious illness.</p>



<p><strong>Dahvi Waller</strong> is responsible for writing the script, based on the original novel. It is still unknown when the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/drama">drama</a> will hit the big screen or if it will have a streaming debut, as the film is still in development, and filming has not yet begun.</p>



<h4>Alba</h4>



<p><strong>Alba</strong> is the upcoming A24 drama film directed by <strong>Francisca Alegria</strong> and produced by <strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/margot-robbie">Margot Robbie</a></strong>‘s company, LuckyChap Entertainment. It is believed to premiere at some point in 2024, but the specific timing within the year has not been confirmed. </p>



<p>Jenna Ortega (X and Miller’s Girl) will join <strong>Camila Mendes</strong> (Riverdale, Do Revenge and Palm Springs) to star in the new adaptation of <strong>Federico García Lorca</strong>‘s play “La Casa de Bernarda Alba”.</p>



<p>The original play premiered in 1945 and is one of the most important works in history. According to Deadline, the Spanish poet and playwright narrates the mourning period self-imposed by Bernarda Alba after the death of her husband.</p>



<p>However, this does not sit well with her daughters, whom she has forbidden from forming any relationships, and this mourning period isolates them, creating tensions at home. This leads the five daughters to rebel against their mother’s wishes.</p>



<h4>Untitled Trey Edward Shults movie</h4>



<p>Ortega was one of the latest additions to the upcoming film directed by <strong>Trey Edward Shults</strong>. The project doesn’t have a title yet, but it has been confirmed that it will be led by the actress and <strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/barry-keoghan">Barry Keoghan</a></strong>, who recently shone in <em>Saltburn</em> and <em>Masters of the Air</em>.</p>



<p><strong>Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye</strong> will make his debut as the lead actor, but it won’t be his only role in the film, as he has solidified his position as the co-writer of the script, alongside his producing partner <strong>Reza Fahim</strong>, according to Deadline.</p>



<p>The responsible filmmaker will also serve as an executive producer alongside the young female star, while <strong>Kevin Turen</strong> and <strong>Harrison Kreiss</strong> have joined Fahim to oversee the film solely as producers.</p>



<p>As it is still in development, the story has not been revealed, nor has any information about its release on the big screen or streaming. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see what other details the cast members may reveal.</p>



<h4>Winter Spring Summer or Fall</h4>



<p><strong>Winter Spring Summer or Fall</strong> is the upcoming romantic drama that will star Jenna and her former co-star from Wednesday, <strong>Percy Hynes White</strong>, who has been under social scrutiny due to certain accusations.</p>



<p>Despite seeming like the movie wouldn’t come out, it has been confirmed that it will hit the big screen in early summer 2024, so the countdown has already begun and the first previews have been revealed.</p>

However, <strong>“Greyhound,”</strong> starring Tom Hanks, is the third most-watched title on the platform for the same period, according to FlixPatrol.com. <p>The movie was directed by <strong>Aaron Schneider,</strong> who is known for “Get Low” (2009), and was originally released in 2020. Hanks wrote the screenplay for the film, which is based on the 1955 novel The Good Shepherd by C. S. Forester.</p>



<p>The film follows a new <strong>US Navy commander</strong> who is in charge of a team of ships from different countries, protecting a group of <strong>37 Allied ships from German U-boats in early 1942</strong>, right after the United States joined World War II.</p>



<h2>‘Greyhound,’ a conversation with the past</h2>



<p>Hanks is no stranger to World War II stories, as one of his most iconic movies is <strong>“Saving Private Ryan,” </strong>while he also has producing credits on the series<strong> “Band of Brothers” </strong>and <strong>“The Pacific.” </strong>He says that as <em>“a guy who has gone back to World War II again and again (in films), <strong>I see direct correlations to life as it is lived right now. </strong>I see the same questions being asked and the same solutions being pursued.”</em></p>

<p>As for his motivation to write this film, he said that when he read it he realized it was told through the perspective of its protagonist, who is not the <em>“captain you would anticipate being in charge of the safety of all these ships. <strong>I had a very strong mental image of the DNA of the story </strong>and how it could possibly be the screenplay of a movie.”</em></p>



<p>The film also stars <strong>Stephen Graham</strong>, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Karl Glusman, Tom Brittney, Rob Morgan, and <strong>Elisabeth Shue. </strong>While the film was first set to be released theatrically, the pandemic changed the plans.</p>

<p>Either way, the film received great reviews from critics, who praise the action sequences and the tense atmosphere of the battle. The movie also earned a nomination for <strong>Best Sound</strong> at the 93rd Academy Awards of that year.</p>
