Despite being a frontrunner, Lily Gladstone left the 2024 Oscars empty-handed whenEmma Stone took home her second Academy Award for Best Actress. It was one of the few surprises of the night, but Gladstone’s nomination and talent predict that she will be back at the ceremony in the future.
Gladstone’s loss wasn’t the only blow for Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon,” which was nominated for ten awards and went home without any. Despite being one of the most prolific American directors, Scorsese’s work is still elusive at the Academy.
Before playing Molly in the drama, Gladstone had had some great roles in TV series such as HBO’s Room 104, Showtime’s Billions and FX’s Reservation Dogs. However, she has also appeared in small films which you can stream.
