Netflix has once again refreshed its catalog and added several original series from the platform, including Bandidos. The Mexican production has become one of the most-watched just two days after its release.

The narrative has it all: adventure, crime, action and humor. It was directed by Adrian Grünberg and Javier Ruiz Caldera, while the story was written by Pablo Tébar and produced by Stacy Perskie.

Ester Expósito stars in the first season, which consists of a total of seven episodes, playing the role of Lili. This isn’t the first time she has succeeded on the streaming giant, as she has previously been in Elite.

Bandidos is the second most-watched series on Netflix

Bandidos has not only become the No. 2 series on Netflix worldwide but has also managed to captivate hundreds of users, earning a spot within the Top 10 in multiple countries, according to Flix Patrol.

The story follows Miguel and Lili. Accompanied by five other bandits, they possess the secret clue that will lead them to a Mayan treasure that no one has been able to find… but they are not the only ones searching for this treasure.

The series is set in the paradisiacal landscapes of the Mexican Caribbean, and each of the settings was carefully selected. They range from the lush landscapes of Yucatán to the imposing Mayan ruins of Petén and Yaxhá in Guatemala, passing through the streets of Madrid, Spain.

Each episode features unexpected twists, an intriguing and adventurous narrative, a high-caliber cast, a good amount of drama and chaos everywhere. Ester Expósito leads the plot, alongside other great actors.

Alfonso Dosal brings Miguel, the co-protagonist, to life. Both stars were joined by Luis Gerardo Méndez, Mabel Cadena, Bruno Bichir, Juan Pablo Medina, Nicolás Furtado and Andrés Baida.
