At the heart of “The Mother of the Bride” is the dynamic duo of Lana and Emma, portrayed by seasoned actress Brooke Shields and fan-favorite Miranda Cosgrove, respectively. Through the ups and downs of wedding planning in a foreign land, Lana and Emma must confront their pasts. And, of course, there will be plenty of absurd and funny situations along the way.

However, in a new interview, the Oscar-winning actress opened up about the status of another project: the third installment of “The Princess Diaries.” And there is good news.



Hathaway, 41, had her big breakthrough as Princess Mia in the Disney’s film, in which she starred alongside Julie Andrews, who played her grandmother Queen Clarisse. However, Hathaway assures fans that The Princess Diaries 3 is in the works.



In an interview with V Magazine, the actress confirmed that the sequel is “in a good place,” but that was all she could say for now. “That’s all I can say. There’s nothing to announce yet. But we’re in a good place,” she added.

Talks of a possible third installment of The Princess Diaries have been going since 2016, with original director Gary Marshall wanting to complete the trilogy. However, when he passed away that year, the project was shelved. Hathaway expressed her interest in reprising the role of Mia in 2018.



It was in 2022 when The Hollywood Reported confirmed that the sequel was moving forward with TV writer Aadrita Mukerji (Reacher, Supergirl) penning the script. Debra Martin Chase, who also produced the previous installment, on board. Melissa Stack will also executive produce. So far, there’s no director attached to the project.

When Chu confirmed the casting of Bailey, he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that the actor was “perfect” and that he was “too excited” about it. Bailey isn’t the only new face joining the third season of Hearstopper. Hailey Atwell, known for appearing in Mission: Impossible saga, and Eddie Marsan (Back to Black, Ray Donovan) have been casted. Atwell will play Nick’s aunt, while Marsan will take the role of Charlie’s therapist.



<h3>Jurassic World reboot (TBD)</h3>



Deadline also reported on April 15, 2024, that Bailey was in talks to star in the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/scarlet-johansson-and-jonathan-baileys-jurassic-world-release-date-and-more">upcoming reboot of “Jurassic World,”</a> and the actor confirmed he joined the project while in an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show: “I mean it’s mind-blowing and it’s brilliant. I remember going to see Jurassic Park with my family,” he said. “It’s history and it’s the John Williams score. It’s [Steven] Spielberg. I have got nightmares for sort of 30 years, so now my nightmare has come true.”



The film, from Universal, will be directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla, Rogue One: A Star Wars story). Meanwhile, Scarlett Johansson has also been confirmed to be one of the leads. Rupert Friend and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo are also joining the cast.

Talking to Comicbook.com, Gosling got candid about the idea of making a “The Nice Guys” sequel: “So much of a sequel, I think, is decided by the opening weekend of a movie, and we opened up against Angry Birds,” Gosling said. “So Angry Birds just, just destroyed us. Angry Birds got a sequel.”



In truth, “Angry Birds” grossed $352 million worldwide, and got a 2019 sequel. Meanwhile, talking to Collider, Blunt revealed that she loved the film and said that Gosling did the “best drunk acting you’ve ever seen.” She also said that she would love to be a part of the sequel. “If Emily were in it, it would have happened,” Gosling added.

On the other hand, Black has shared that he did try to bring the Universe back but in a TV series. Per Comicbook.com, the director said in 2022 that they “caught the characters, but the plot was totally different. It was set in the present day, and no one wanted to buy it.”

David Leitch, who helmed Brad Pitt’s “The Bullet Train” and co-directed the first “John Wick,” is also directing the project, which has been described as a love letter to stunt men. The solution was practical: this isn’t the same Logan as the original X-Men timeline. In this case, we learn that Logan isn’t respected in his Universe, and that all his fellow X-Men are dead.

In this trailer, Wade Wilson is recruiting Logan to help him save his Universe. Which is certainly a contrast of what appears to be the mission in the first teaser (saving the Sacred Timeline). However, as has happened before, we’ll have to wait to see if these teasers are misleading.



<ul><li>Cassandra Nova is confirmed as the villain</li></ul>



The trailer also offered the first look at Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova, who is Charles Xavier’s evil twin. In the comics, she is a “Mummidrai,” a being who copies a person’s body and powers but with evil intent. In the trailer, we can see how Nova’s psychic and telekinetic abilities allow her to easily defeat Logan’s attacks.
