Avan Jogia and Dove Cameron will join forces again to star in the upcoming romantic (slightly steamy) <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/series">series</a> being developed by <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/prime-video">Prime Video</a>, titled “Obsession“, which has a dark tone.



This isn’t the first time the stars have worked together, as they previously collaborated in the 2019 musical <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/comedy">comedy</a> film “The Angry Birds Movie 2”, where they portrayed supporting characters.



The production is an adaptation of a popular romantic novel that blends a crime plot with erotic scenes, “56 Days“, which was written by Catherine Ryan Howard and published in 2021.

The series follows “Ciara and Oliver, who randomly meet in a store. They quickly fall intensely in love. 56 days later, homicide detectives arrive at Oliver’s house and find a corpse”.



Although the official synopsis of Amazon’s upcoming <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/thriller">thriller</a> series is quite short, the book has been one of the bestsellers for its incredible blend of mystery, crime and romance.

The book portrays a young woman named Ciara who, while on vacation in Thailand with her boyfriend Oliver, is arrested for drug possession. She is sent to a Thai prison where she faces extremely difficult conditions.



The chapters unfold her struggles to survive in that hostile environment while her family and friends at home fight to get her release and uncover the truth behind her arrest.

It’s official! “Maxton Hall” is beginning pre-production on its second season. The news was confirmed on the official Instagram account of <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/prime-video">Prime Video</a> Germany a few hours ago, which has been reposting photos that both the cast and filming crew of the series have been taking to celebrate.



The series has become the top production on the platform this year, even surpassing “Fallout,” the show that was poised to be the jewel of 2024, in each country where the streaming service is available.



For those who are too impatient to wait for the release of the second season to find out how the story continues, you should know that “Maxton Hall” is based on the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/lifestyle/maxton-hall-how-many-books-are-on-the-prime-video-adaptation">“Save Me” trilogy</a> by Mona Kasten, which is available for purchase both online and in physical stores. He also expressed concern about portraying his character in the darker tone that the second novel, “Save You,” displays. As those who have finished the first season remember, the last episode ends with a tragedy for Damian’s character, and now, it’s only going to get more sorrowful.



“In the second book, it’s really dark for James.” He explains, “As much as that is great stuff to reenact, I feel so much more fear than joy thinking about if we get lucky to get a second season to actually have to portray that because that would just entail so much pain to go through.”

“The Lord of the Rings” is one of the most successful franchises in the history of cinema, and a few years ago, they continued expanding the universe of elves and epic fantasy with a spin-off series on <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/prime-video">Prime Video</a>.
