The Boys has never ceased to be trending and be one of the most popular shows in the Prime Video catalog. Being ongoing since 2019, the end is near, and it will conclude with its fifth season.

Eric Kripke‘s creation, which was an Emmy Award winner, will premiere its fourth installment on June 13th this year, and to the surprise of fans, it was confirmed that only one more batch of episodes remains.

However, despite the end approaching, it was confirmed that Amazon is already planning to expand its fantasy universe, launching new spin-offs and incorporating other editions of well-known shows, like Gen V.

What are the next projects in The Boys universe?

Eric Kripke spoke with various media outlets, such as Variety and Entertainment Weekly, about the future of The Boys and what will happen with the show’s universe after the flagship series reaches its anticipated conclusion.

The fifth season will last only eight episodes, which will begin filming in November of this year. Additionally, he confessed that they are “kicking around some ideas” for some A-list guest stars.

In addition to the end of the original drama, it has already been confirmed that it will not be the last we see of the superhero universe, but quite the opposite. Not only will more seasons of Gen V arrive, but there will also be other spin-offs.
