If you are familiar with Prime Video’s parameters for its products, you should know that <strong>they are quite strict when it comes to viewership objectives.</strong> We have seen some big successes, like “My Lady Jane,” get canceled despite being loved and applauded by many viewers across the globe.</p>



<p>However, it is also true that productions with A-list stars tend to be renewed, so we can hopefully expect a second “Canary Black” movie unless it fails to rank in the worldwide or U.S. top charts, which doesn’t seem likely. <p>This will be the first title crafted by the filmmaker with the streamer <strong>after he left Netflix following the termination of the deal he signed in 2019. </strong>This contract led to the creation of some of the most successful horror titles for TV, including “The Haunting of Hill House,” “The Haunting of Bly Manor,” “Midnight Mass,” and “The Fall of the House of Usher”. But those times are behind him,<strong> as it is rumored that the director was not happy with how “The Midnight Club” was advertised.</strong></p>



<p>In 2022, <strong>it was announced that Flanagan signed a multiyear series deal with Amazon Studios.</strong> While it was widely expected that his first project under this contract would be the “Dark Tower” series, it seems that the story of Carrie, retold from his perspective, will be his first project under the Prime Video banner.</p>

T<strong>he most likely next step is for them to rebuild the Italian faction of Citadel</strong>, and it seems improbable that Prime Video will leave us hanging.</p>



<p>Based on the open-ended conclusion and the fact that the streamer has not only renewed the main “Citadel” series but also announced spin-offs in India, Spain, and Mexico, i<strong>t seems highly likely that “Citadel: Diana” will also get a second season.</strong></p>



<p>As for the release date, we could reasonably expect it within a year. According to Variety, the first season began filming in October 2022 and wrapped in May 2023. If the second season begins production before the end of 2024, <strong>we could anticipate its release in late 2025!</strong></p>
