Killer Heat” is a newly released crime mystery film available on Prime Video, directed by the talented Philippe Lacôte (To Repel Ghosts and Run) and based on the short story “The Jealousy Man” by Jo Nesbø.

The cast is filled with top-tier stars who have distinguished themselves as talents in the industry, including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley and Richard Madden, who plays dual roles as Leo and Elias Vardakis.

Set on a picturesque Greek island, the story revolves around a suspicious death. Leo Vardakis seemingly dies in an accident by falling off a cliff, but his sister-in-law, Penelope (played by Woodley), suspects foul play.

Will Killer Heat get a sequel on Prime Video?

So far, there has been no official announcement about a sequel to “Killer Heat” on Prime Video. However, this is understandable since it has just premiered in Amazon’s catalog, making it very early to determine its future.

The mystery, action and intrigue film directed by Lacôte has received mixed reviews; some praise its performances and the beautiful setting in Greece, while others have pointed out its predictability.
