The story focuses on Solène Marchand, a 40-year-old single mother, who begins an unexpected romance with Hayes Campbell, a 24-year-old lead singer of the world’s most popular boy band, August Moon.

Apparently, the author was inspired by one of the most iconic singers in the music industry to create the member of the band, and that is none other than Harry Styles, who used to be part of One Direction.

Many readers or those familiar with the plot spoke about the similarities between the singer’s real life and the drama. One of the most common ones was the scene of the interview with Graham Norton.
