The Idea of You is not only a Wattpad dream but also one of the most anticipated romantic movies of recent times, and it’s only a few months away from its big debut on the Prime Video catalog.
Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine star in this drama about forbidden love, based on the novel written by Robinne Lee. The story follows a single mother who begins a relationship with the leader of a popular boy band.

Who wrote the soundtrack for The Idea of You?
Savan Kotecha and Carl Falk were the ones most involved in creating the soundtrack for The Idea of You, as well as the singles for August Moon. The first song released, Dance Before We Walk, was written by them.

Grammy winner Kotecha was not only responsible for the project but also the author of several worldwide hits, such as Live While We’re Young, which was covered by One Direction in 2012.
Meanwhile, Swedish composer Falk has been involved in other major productions, such as the 2017 musical documentary Avicii: True Stories, which has been a success in multiple countries and tells the story of the renowned DJ.
When will the album of the movie be released?
The full soundtrack album for “The Idea of You” will be released on May 2, the same day the movie joins the Prime Video catalog. So, only then will we know all the songs performed by August Moon.
However, Arista Records has already released the first track, titled “Dance Before We Walk.” It is now available on all platforms, such as Spotify and iTunes. Additionally, the song appeared in the first trailer.
