<h2>‘The Miracle Club,’ a fantastic friendship tale set in Lourdes</h2>



In an interview with Movies.ie, O’Sullivan revealed that the movie, which was written by Jimmy Smallhorne, Timothy Prager and Joshua Maurer, had been in development for 12 years. “People joke about how long development takes, but I couldn’t believe it was still around. A bunch of women who go to Lourdes looking for a miracle would always have legs,” he said.

Apart from revealing that the shooting only took 25 days, he also explained the process for each actress, whom he said it was “daunting” to work with, as they are all legends. “They had a clear idea of their character because they had been attached for so long,” he explained.



O’Sullivan said that Smith was “very particular” about the props she uses, as she is a “very tactile actor.” Meanwhile, Bates preferred to “ come into a room, go around feeling everything,” and Linney’s preparation “was all in her head because her character was in pain; she was carrying so much of the past, and she didn’t want to give it away too early.”

While “The Accountant” received mixed reviews at the time of its release, a sequel is already in production. Affleck and the rest of the original cast are returning, as well as Gavin O’Connor in the direction. Bill Dubuque, who wrote the original script, is also returning as screenwriter.&nbsp;

“The Accountant” is not just a typical action-thriller; it also explores themes of identity, morality, and the complexities of living with a neurodevelopmental disorder. While critics were divided about the film, Affleck’s performance was praised.&nbsp;

<h2>Why Cillian Murphy doesn’t like ‘Red Eye’?</h2>



In a recent interview with GQ, published right before his historic Oscar win as Best Actor for “Oppenheimer,” the Irish actor opened up about the fact that he hasn’t watched most of his films. However, he has seen “Red Eye” and isn’t too fond of it.



“I love Rachel McAdams and we had fun making it,” he explained, “But I don’t think it’s a good movie. It’s a good B movie.” Talking about the thriller, he revealed that he was attracted to the part due the “duality” of the role.



“It’s why I wanted to play it. That ‘two’ thing. The nice guy and the bad guy in one,” he said of his character. “The only reason it appealed to me is you could do that. That turn, you know?” he added.

However, finishing the film was a challenge after production was halted due to her son Ian’s death by suicide in January 2022 at age 26. “I know Ian would have felt like if I didn’t finish something because of a choice that he needed to make, then I wasn’t honoring him,” King told Elle. “We all landed at the finish line on Ian’s wings. He guided us there.”

Owen Gleiberman from Variety praised the cast’s performances, especially Cox’s, and wrote that, despite the film’s TV aesthetics, “it delivers a truth about those who have served, about the reality of the demons that can linger in them, that’s tough and moving.”

The plot follows Carroll Shelby, an engineer and former race car driver, and Ken Miles, a talented but temperamental British driver. Together, they are hired by Ford Motor Company to design and build a racing car capable of beating Ferrari, which has dominated endurance racing for years.



The movie depicts the intense competition between Shelby and his team of Ford engineers, including Miles, as they struggle against tight deadlines and technical challenges to build the Ford GT40. 



In addition to the technical challenges, it also explores internal rivalries and tensions among the characters, as well as the complexities of the automotive industry and Ford’s commercial pressures.



Christian Bale and Matt Damon are the ones who bring the main characters to life. However, of course, they were not alone, as the cast was made up of multiple familiar faces, like Jon Bernthal, Tracy Letts and Caitríona Balfe.
