According to the metrics-focused site Flix Patrol, the production quickly claimed the top spot, surpassing original series from the streaming giant, such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Furies and Das Signal.
The story follows Eddie Horniman, who inherits his father’s large estate, an English aristocrat, and becomes the new Duke of Halstead, only to discover that he is on the largest grass farm in Europe, owned by the legendary Mickey Pearson.
Theo James brings the main character to life, accompanied by a top-notch cast that includes prominent figures like Kaya Scodelario, Giancarlo Esposito, Vinnie Jones, Daniel Ings and Joely Richardson.
The British series has everything that Netflix users typically enjoy: a passionate narrative filled with family conflicts and drama, enigmatic action sequences, and unexpected (sometimes slightly bizarre) moments.
