Guy Ritchie returned to Netflix with one of his latest collaborations: a mysterious British crime series titled The Gentlemen. Starring Theo James (Divergent and The White Lotus), it has become the No. 1 worldwide.

Just two days after being added to the platform’s catalog, the first season has become a trend in multiple countries, as well as in the United States, where it holds the second position in the Top 10.

The story is full of suspense and action, with elements of comedy and drama. As expected, the production caught the attention of hundreds of users, making it one of the current favorites.

The Gentlemen ranked No. 1 series on Netflix worldwide

The Gentlemen had its grand debut on Netflix just two days ago and has now become the most-watched series on the platform worldwide, surpassing other major titles and positioning itself as one of the most interesting projects.

According to the metrics-focused site Flix Patrol, the production quickly claimed the top spot, surpassing original series from the streaming giant, such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Furies and Das Signal.

The story follows Eddie Horniman, who inherits his father’s large estate, an English aristocrat, and becomes the new Duke of Halstead, only to discover that he is on the largest grass farm in Europe, owned by the legendary Mickey Pearson.

Theo James brings the main character to life, accompanied by a top-notch cast that includes prominent figures like Kaya Scodelario, Giancarlo Esposito, Vinnie Jones, Daniel Ings and Joely Richardson.
