Talking with Time magazine, Wrightsman, who currently works as a personal trainer in Sacramento, says that she hopes the movie helps people be more compassionate to those experiencing homelessness. “You never know the magic inside someone who’s sleeping on the street,” she says.

The exact month or day of its release has not been confirmed yet, but it is believed that it could be at the beginning of next year, as the final installment is still being filmed.

Shawn Levy, the director of the episodes, has spoken with Variety about how he will deal with the simple fact that the protagonists don’t look like they used to, as the filming of the series took an eternity to begin.



Well, he confessed that there is nothing to worry about, as the production team is very aware of these physical transformations, which they will conceal thanks to hairdressing, makeup, and wardrobe.



“We have already seen the cast of our series grow before the public, between the ages of 12 and 22, every human being changes profoundly. This passage of time is definitely not helping. That said, our hair, makeup, and wardrobe department are quite exceptional, as they use wigs, costumes and makeup. 



And the 80s are also our friends when it comes to bringing these young adult actors back to their iconic characters from Hawkins. So we are going to use all the tools available to us. And I know that our cast is eager to get back to work like the rest of us“, he said.

In an interview with Movies.ie, O’Sullivan revealed that the movie, which was written by Jimmy Smallhorne, Timothy Prager and Joshua Maurer, had been in development for 12 years. “People joke about how long development takes, but I couldn’t believe it was still around. A bunch of women who go to Lourdes looking for a miracle would always have legs,” he said.

Apart from revealing that the shooting only took 25 days, he also explained the process for each actress, whom he said it was “daunting” to work with, as they are all legends. “They had a clear idea of their character because they had been attached for so long,” he explained.



O’Sullivan said that Smith was “very particular” about the props she uses, as she is a “very tactile actor.” Meanwhile, Bates preferred to “ come into a room, go around feeling everything,” and Linney’s preparation “was all in her head because her character was in pain; she was carrying so much of the past, and she didn’t want to give it away too early.”

In a recent interview with GQ, published right before his historic Oscar win as Best Actor for “Oppenheimer,” the Irish actor opened up about the fact that he hasn’t watched most of his films. However, he has seen “Red Eye” and isn’t too fond of it.



“I love Rachel McAdams and we had fun making it,” he explained, “But I don’t think it’s a good movie. It’s a good B movie.” Talking about the thriller, he revealed that he was attracted to the part due the “duality” of the role.



“It’s why I wanted to play it. That ‘two’ thing. The nice guy and the bad guy in one,” he said of his character. “The only reason it appealed to me is you could do that. That turn, you know?” he added.

In the present day, the scientific community is being shocked by an alarming wave of mysterious suicides. We follow Clarence Shi (Benedict Wong), a private intelligence officer, who has to team up with a group of researchers to save the planet from a great threat.



Meanwhile, in the past, Ye Wenjie (Zine Tseng), a promising young astrophysicist, sees her father being beaten to death in China, during the Cultural Revolution. However, one important decision she makes has ramifications to the present.



The rest of the cast includes Jess Hong, Jovan Adepo, Liam Cunningham, John Bradley, Eiza González, Rosalind Chao, Alex Sharp, Jonathan Price, among others. Meanwhile, critics have approved the series, which currently holds a score of 76% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Brian Cox stars in “Mending the Line,” a <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/drama">drama</a> that is currently trending on <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix">Netflix</a> in the United States. According to FlixPatrol, the film is the sixth most-watched title on the platform only one day after its release. Meanwhile, “Iris Wish” with <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/lindsay-lohan">Lindsay Lohan</a> is still at the number one spot.



To a new generation, Cox has been most recognizable as the patriarch of the Roy family in HBO’s drama <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/series">series</a> “Succession.” However, the multiple-award-winning actor has appeared in several important films over the years, such as “Manhunter,” “Troy,” “Braveheart” or “Zodiac.”

In “Mending the Line,” Cox shares the screen with Sinqua Walls, best known for the comedy “White Men Can’t Jump,” as well as with Perry Mattfeld, Patricia Heaton and Wes Studi. <h2>‘Mending the Line,’ a thoughtful drama about war</h2>



Helmed by Joshua Caldwell and written by Stephen Camelio, the movie follows Marine John Colter (Walls) who is injured during combat in Afghanistan. Now in a V.A Medical Center in Montana, he learns how to fly fish with Ike Fletcher (Cox), a Vietnam veteran.



The movie was released in 2023, to positive reviews from critics. It currently holds an 80% approval on Rotten Tomatoes with 20 reviews. Owen Gleiberman from Variety praised the cast’s performances, especially Cox’s, and wrote that, despite the film’s TV aesthetics, “it delivers a truth about those who have served, about the reality of the demons that can linger in them, that’s tough and moving.”

Another positive review came from Gary Goldstein of the Los Angeles Times, who praised the fly-fishing sequences, calling them “lovely and magical,” as well as the cinematography from Eve Cohen. He was also pleased with the strong cast.



In an interview with Screen Rant, Caldwell said that in order to get the film right, he and the team did a lot of research, including talking to veterans. He also said that he hoped the film could serve as a “dialogue” for the audience.

“If this movie in some way can connect to those vets, or connect to somebody that knows a vet, and creates a dialogue and creates a connection between them and gives these guys an opportunity to try and find peace. I think that’s ultimately what we’d like to see,” he told the outlet.
