Killing Eve is one of the many popular creations that were Phoebe Waller-Bridge‘s brainchild, known for her work on Fleabag with Andrew Scott. The series has once again shone in the Netflix US Top 10.

The dark comedy has it all, but especially blends drama with thriller. The enigmatic and captivating story is based on Luke Jennings‘ novels featuring the character of Villanelle, played by Jodie Comer.

Sandra Oh, known for portraying Cristina Yang in Grey’s Anatomy, stars in the popular Emmy-winning TV show as Eve Polastri, alongside the young actress soon to be seen in The Bikeriders.

Killing Eve ranked No. 3 series on Netflix US

It’s not the first time that Killing Eve has been one of the biggest trends on Netflix‘s catalog, but this time it has become the third most-watched series in the United States, according to Flix Patrol.

The crime and spy TV show has managed to surpass multiple popular productions that were shining in the American Top 10. Among them is “3 Body Problem” with Eiza González and “Neal Brennan: Crazy Good”.

The wild and dark comedy follows the story of two women: Eve Polastri (played by Sandra Oh), a bored British MI5 agent, and Villanelle (played by Jodie Comer), an elegant and talented professional assassin.

Eve becomes obsessed with capturing Villanelle, and both women find themselves entangled in a dangerous cat-and-mouse game while developing a strange and fascinating relationship.

The thriller, which premiered in 2018 and now has 4 seasons, is known for its blend of genres. It combines intense and thrilling moments with elements of dark comedy, giving it a unique and distinctive tone.
