Midsummer Night is the new foreign series on Netflix that has not only become a success but also has a storyline rich in multiple elements and explores secret parallel lives, relationships and more.

Just a day ago, the creation of Per-Olav Sørensen (Nobel, Quicksand, and The Playlist) has become the #2 most-watched on the platform worldwide, surpassing other original productions and popular titles.

The first season consists of a total of five episodes, which are carried out by a Norwegian and Swedish cast, including stars like Pernilla August, Dennis Storhøi, Amalia Holm and Sofia Tjelta.

Midsummer Night is Netflix’s new original drama that has not only become one of the most popular series in Norway at the moment but has also become the second most-watched worldwide, according to Flix Patrol.

The TV show has surpassed multiple well-known titles that were shining in the Top 10. However, this mystery story has been accumulating hundreds of views, ultimately claiming the #2 spot in the rankings.

The narrative unfolds in the context of a summer solstice party and explores themes such as relationships, marriage, love, betrayal, hope, dreams, jealousy and forgiveness. The first season consists of a total of five episodes.

The episodes follow a family gathering to celebrate the Swedish summer solstice, but old secrets come to light, ruining the occasion. The drama quickly takes over, unleashing great chaos.

The series was added to the catalog on April 11th and features a talented ensemble cast, including stars like Pernilla August, Dennis Storhøi, Yngvild Støen Grotmol and Amalia Holm Bjelke.
