Romantic comedies have not only returned to trend but have regained their status as one of the favorite genres among enthusiasts of these dramatic stories. This week, one of them is in the Top 5 on Netflix.

Love, Divided” (known in Spanish as Pared con Pared) is the Spanish production starring Aitana, the young singer and pop star, alongside Fernando Guallar, known for Postcards.

Patricia Font (The Teacher Who Promised the Sea) directed the film, which has become the fifth most-watched on the platform worldwide, based on a screenplay written by Marta Sánchez (Down There).

Love, Divided ranked No. 5 on Netflix worldwide

Love, Divided” is the new Spanish-language movie that arrived on Netflix just a day ago and has already become the fifth most-watched on the platform worldwide, according to the specialized site Flix Patrol.

The story follows a young pianist preparing for an audition and a young video game creator who can only concentrate in silence. Only a thin wall separates them – Will they manage to learn to live together side by side?

Aitana portrays Valentina, while Fernando Guallar plays David. Both are the main characters, accompanied by great Spanish talents, including Natalia Rodríguez, Paco Tous, Miguel Ángel Muñoz and Adam Jezierski.

The title is an original production of the service and is a remake of a French romantic comedy, “Blind Date”, which was quite successful in Europe and has now returned to trend, but with its new version.
