Netflix has once again updated its ranking of the most-watched movies, not only adding some of its recent original productions but also including some classics that have won the hearts of users.
One of them is “Ford v Ferrari“, the biographical sports drama starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale, which was released in 2019 and now occupies the fourth position within the Top 10 worldwide.
Based on a true story, the production was not only one of the most acclaimed during its release but also won two Academy Awards: Best Achievement in Film Editing and Best Achievement in Sound Editing.

The plot follows Carroll Shelby, an engineer and former race car driver, and Ken Miles, a talented but temperamental British driver. Together, they are hired by Ford Motor Company to design and build a racing car capable of beating Ferrari, which has dominated endurance racing for years.
The movie depicts the intense competition between Shelby and his team of Ford engineers, including Miles, as they struggle against tight deadlines and technical challenges to build the Ford GT40.
In addition to the technical challenges, it also explores internal rivalries and tensions among the characters, as well as the complexities of the automotive industry and Ford’s commercial pressures.
Christian Bale and Matt Damon are the ones who bring the main characters to life. However, of course, they were not alone, as the cast was made up of multiple familiar faces, like Jon Bernthal, Tracy Letts and Caitríona Balfe.
