The title, directed by Janeen Damian, has become the most-watched movie on the platform worldwide and in the United States. American users have made the rom-com number one slightly before the rest of the countries.
It’s not the first time the 37-year-old star, who has amassed a great fortune and a substantial salary with the production, collaborates with the streaming giant, but quite the opposite, this being the second time within months.

“Irish Wish” joined Netflix‘s catalog on March 15th, and with just four days since its release, it has managed to become the most-watched movie on the platform, both in the United States and worldwide.
The metrics specialized site Flix Patrol reported that the rom-com had claimed the top spot in the Top 10 in less than a week, which is no easy feat. It has also surpassed “Damsel” with Millie Bobby Brown.
Lindsay Lohan portrays the main character, Maddie Kelly, in this adventurous and wild love story, set in the most beautiful landscapes of Ireland. Ed Speleers and Alexander Vlahos accompany her as her love interests.
Janeen Damian directed the film from a screenplay written by Kirsten Hansen, which follows Maddie, who sets aside her feelings when the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, to be the maid of honor at their wedding.
The streaming giant has been betting heavily on rom-coms, and this production has everything to succeed among users, especially because of its quirky and complex characters, its dramatic narrative and a love triangle.
